Yes Iyah that is correct. I am making the comparison. The Ethiopian calendar begins on 1 Meskerem.. this day is called is 11 September in the west. This upcoming 1 Meskerem it will be the year 2010 in Ethiopia. Fools's day, as the name suggests, is a day for fools to take part in folly and stupidity on a grand scale. Whether or not the foolish celebration was created to mock Africa, there is no knowledge of a day for fools to engage in foolishness in traditional Ethiopia Africa. We know ourselves to be noble people of divine origin with highly civilized behaviour. So we see who the real fools are, not that it matters to us any way.
