How to Keep snakes away from I compound

Greetings Week ago I n I was called by i househelp informing I of a snake. i killed it. Today i woke up n i was notified another one was sighted but it escaped n it is definatly in i compound. Anyone of the I dem know how to find it? bless!

I used to live in south america. It would be helpful to find the crack or hole they keep coming into and if there's something being left out that they keep coming for. Then seal up wherever they are coming from. I'm not sure how to find it, but I know we used mothballs to keep them away. I also kept a spray bottle with cinnamon and clove oil to spray windows, doors, all openings...including the snake itself. Good luck bredren! Keep us posted.

Thats what I always been told mothballs. All the elders used to use them. Some use to say diesel worked but it kills plant life, poisons soil and water. I dnt know how to find them but would guess they would be dark quiet spots. If there is food sources around then that would keep them coming back. Maybe invest in a snake predator, mongoose or so
