clean animals(cattle-herd or flock-and fowls) were killed and offered as sacrifices for sin(a state of fear and trembling and conscious reproach, when the soul (and body) is afflicted/wounded), to expiate one's sin and set him in the favour of the almighty. Christ(GOD in flesh) visited the earth in purity of thought and deed, and was offered as a "clean animal", as a sacrifice for all man of all generatios, to heal all wounds(sin), body and soul, to set all man in the favour of Jah.

How can Christ be a sacrifice when god is against human sacrifice? And said everyone must die for their own sins? So what sin did Jesus commit?

God so loveth his creation-men, of whom all are sinners before Him, so he sent forth His son, who is pure(a sacrifice has to be pure) to bear all the sufferings and death of the sinners, tht he should die for our sake/in our stead(GOD took on Himself the sufferings and death that was meant for sinners) that man may live. It was an act of true love.
