They were CHRISTIAN but no fanatics which is what you have demonstrated
Garvey was no religious fanatic he accepted people of all religions and beliefs into his movement. He put race first over religion and belief.
HIM isnt a fanatic even from his high religious position. He clearly stated his path (of faith / belief) is not the only valid one. And reminded us of his Dynasty outlasting the Bible.
Bob Marley was schooled by Planno. And although we cannot know whether marley would have outgrown the shackles of religion/Bible, his teacher clearly did.
