Gye Nyame" (jeh N-yah-mee) is the name of the camouflaged adinkra symbol. Its native African translation means: No one lives who saw its beginning and no one will live to see it's end, except God. Gye Nyame (except god) is revered as one of highest Akan spiritual symbols. It is a symbol that has many interpretations. "Except God" simply means that one recognizes the supremacy of God and, in essence, one is not afraid of anything--except the Supreme Being. One should not be hindered from doing anything except what God forbids. Gye Nyame also means that one recognizes that God is omnipotent and omnipresent, that God is above all. The Supreme Being is the creator of the world and all things that are in it. The Supreme Being controls all things in the world as well as the powers that operate the world.

give thanks! may i ask which god was meant by saying only god will live forever? i know we had a lot of bible vs. culture threads lately but i really dont want to critize anything. im just interested historical wise. seems like it was part of an era of sun worship, right? never heard of it before. at least its part of an era of truth. i like the concept very much. not like today. when they use stanley kubrick to direct the "moon landing" lol

Yes, even the word "Nature" comes from the Kemetic NTR (Neter} To the great and supreme power which made the earth, the heavens, the sea, the sky, men and women, animals, birds, and creeping things, all that is and all that shall be, the Egyptians gave the name Neter. yeah. i see the connection to the world religions of today. i think what some people believe in nowadays is nothing else. but they wont admit it. i know there are a lot of things that were terribly wrong when it comes to the roman-catholic church for example but well maybe even the people who dont really follow one of the big world religions are spiritual to me. everybody is spiritual. even the imposters. and to me it all leads to righteousness once you are true to yourself. no matter if you have found your way to rasta or something else. everybody is spiritual although some people dont know about it. to me there is only one real righteous god, a certain creator who has created mankind, and the one who knows him knows what to do.

so let me tell you one thing. you can follow every religion you want to me. as long as you dont do anything to other people you can even be a satanist in i wont burn your house down you know. but let me tell you what i think about worshipping the one lucifer. i mean really worshipping lucifer/ satan... i remember when i was in trouble a long time ago, i dont know what it was that had bothered me at the time anymore but i was sitting on the stairs of the basement of a huge buidling and i began to pray. i said to god that i dont worship satan but i have a few words for him. so i said to lucifer that im all alone by myself now and that there arent even any video cams around me. so if he wants something from me he better should act like a man. especially if he thinks hes so much more than that. why does such a powerful creature has to send demons who attack people in the night and with certain signs and symbols. he should say what hes all about right now and appear in the shape of a guy whos just as strong and tall as i am if he wants to have a confrontation. you know what? nothing happened. so the concept of the biblical lucifer as the righteous one who helps us against the "evil" jah isnt true at all. this is the evidence. if you want something from jah he might not react too but he reacts in life all of the time. because hes the real creator. he can do what he wants to us. and hes the righteous creator. thats only my believe and i dont talk about the things that are written in the bible etc. right now. but satan isnt the creator and if there is lucifer he fears the vibes of iman. all he can do is attacking people with confusion and attacking people in complete darkness like a little girl. they say lucifer was the leading musician in heaven. some say that almost all of the main stream singers of today are dealing with lucifer. so if our main stream music of today is all lucifer can do musically its no wonder that he was kicked out of heaven. there is only jah. jah give i the power. jah makes me live for iver and iver. in this world alone everything we do in the name of jah will last forever.
