We should all be clear by now that nobody name Jesus Christ was born Dec. 25. Still, Will the IDEM be celebrating CrissMuss in the I household? Is there stil something to be gained from this Pagan celebration? Will you be celebrating something ELSE on this date instead? Anybody deal with Kwanza? Or the two yearly Solstices? I take no parts, but thats I. & I don't obstruct anyone whe may be around I from celebrating should they so wish Live Up

Its a time which brings out good and bad in people Iman ever give thanks for the good,certain people seem happier,are kinder to each other,have more togetherness but on the flip side this Xmas ting can make some people disrespectful,greedy,wanty wanty,show off this and that,upmanship. Iman sight that the 25th of December is a good day for I as it give I the chance to see I relatives who are busy all the time.

Also I would say most people even some Christians do not 'celebrate' Jesus birth its just come like an excuse for a extra day off work.

Ras Nate makes a good point Bobobinghi. Many Christians have told I they don't beLIEve in the whole religious story behind Xmas and they just celebrate as it represents happiness togetherness and so on. But this usually involves spending lots of money, in Babylonian shops stores and online. Further propelling the beast, economically. In addition, Children are always a target for commercialism around Xmas time. How will the I be dealing with this? The I still buy presents? The I don't mind where / who the presents are bought from or does the I turn the babylon commercialism on its head and buy from Black Empowerment sources for Xmas shopping? Or does the I 'make' the present himself? Interesting.... No doubt I mother will be present for the midnite sermon

My faternal side is mostly Rastas who don't celebrate Xmas at all in anyway.On the maternal side the adults aren't really into it either,they don't buy each other presents,its just little the youths that receive material gifts,Iman brother and the cousins around my age get some money each.I think the adults spend too much money on food,but in terms of gifts I wouldn't say they are profitting the beast in any extravagent sort of way like some families do or putting themselves in finnancially difficult position. The youths will give their piece of change to the beast,but they would do this any time of the year so its not really because of Xmas.InI have been taught from young to save some and spend some on things that matter. But of course for ones who don't overstand the bigger picture of course they will give away their money and profit the beast.They will live their whole life this way because they don't,won't or can't see life like Rastafari amongst others do.some will listen and some will stay stubborn,Iman just try to lead by example.still I am nobodys ruler but my own.
