Now many Rasta chant a psalm a day to keep those demons away from the mentality , to build a wall of chanting vibration with word sound power, keep away lower vibes by chanting with the Most High Spirit, higher vibes are Irated from within, because we know and over stand two different people can chant two psalms and give off 2 different sets of word sound power vibration, and that our Mighty God is A Living Man!
Jah Rastafari HAILE SELASSIE I
JAH LIVES!

Psalm 45
King James Version (KJV)
45 My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

2 Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

3 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.

4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

5 Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

9 Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;

11 So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.

12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.

16 Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
Psalm 46

King James Version (KJV)
46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Jacob means 'one who contendeth with Jah, or (struggles with')

Remember Jacob wrestles with Jah.

Genesis 32
24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved,

(Peniel means 'place of God')

I have seen King Selassie I, a mere human bodie with a spirit of Jacob, never giving up the wrestle, and overcoming,
for who prevails and conquers also wins what has been conquered, and love is the conqueror that wins the prize of Jah and Zion

There is a way that secures a place in Zion, and a mis-way that secures a places in babylon confusion. Jah Guide, Never give up the fight.

I learn from this story with Jacob, that first comes struggles with Jah, as alligning into HIS WAY,and becoming as strong and persevering as the Lion of Judah our self, and then comes the blessing with the of light of it rising pon our lifes lands.

HAILE SELASSIE I EARTHLIGHT BLESSING JAH RASTAFARI THE LIGHT THAT ENLIGHENETH EVERY MAN WOMAN AND CHILD THAT ALLIGN IN JAH WAY AND PERSEVERE THEREIN THE LIGHT WILL DAWN UPON THEM AND SETTLE ON THEIR HEAD AS A CROWN AND FILL THEM WITH THE SPIRIT LIGHT AND STRENGHT OF JAH LIFE

(I made mistake in writing, Israel means contending and prevailing with Jah, wrestling .....and Jacob means heal puller or holder because he was b one with his twin Esau , and come out second holding his heel.)

Give thanks bredren... I&I feel strengthened by the chanting of these Psalms the I has shared.
I want to add, although everyone seems to agree that Israel means "to struggle with man and God and to overcome", I have studied and find a second meaning. The Hebrew for Israel is éÄùÀÒøÈàÅì, which seems to mean that "El prevails" or Elohim, JAH, prevails. The beginning of this word, though, is éÄùÀÒøÈ which means straight, upright, or honest. àÅ means A, the first letter, or One. ì means El, short for Elohim which is the early Hebrew word to describe JAH, "they who come from above." Side note, although the noun Elohim is plural, the accompanying pronouns are conjugated for a singular noun, therefore implying the author knew the deity to be singular but had no other word to explain what JAH was. So to I, this word Yisrael seems to mean "honesty, uprightness, oneness with JAH."
Knowing that Jacob means "to grasp the heel" which is an idiom meaning to deceive, and then knowing that JAH changed his name to Yisrael, does I&I interpret the new name to be a new story, whereas Jacob had been a liar, Yisrael is honest with JAH?
I need to study the ancient Hebrew text to overstand the significance of each letter, but this is only what I have come to see so far.
Chant down Babylon, chant a Psalm a day.
Blessed love. Selah.

Stand firm, with Jah.
With roots, withstand wind.
For every adversity and challenge Jah gives a way to prevail.Jah is the way.
He gave Moses a wood staff, Solomon had wisdom, Selassie has the blood of Christ the Ancient One, Architype of humanity running through his blood, Noah was to build a Ark , and Joseph and Mary were to flee to Egypt to save the Child inside of her the Christ.
Jah Will provide all we need for what we are to face in JAHS will.

Maybe the I can answer to I and I the meaning of the word Selah found in Psalms of David?
Consider where it occurs within the poetry.
(Methinks it mean Trio; a wordsound to the past and a wordsound to the present and a wordsound to the future).

Psalm 92 of the Mighty Psalms of King David,

A psalm, A song, for the Sabbath Day!

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: Selassie I JAH RASTAFARI

To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

For thou, AMLAK, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

O LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

But thou, LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI, art most high for evermore.

For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI shall flourish in the courts of our God.

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

To shew that the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in H.I.M HAILE I SELASSIE I JAH RASTAFARI

PSALMS 121

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI is thy keeper: the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARU is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

HAILE SELASSIE I 122nd Earth Strong, so we read Psalms 122,

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI!!

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI HAILE SELASSIE I.
For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

Because of the house of the LORD GOD JAH RASTAFARI HAILE SELASSIE I our God I will seek thy good.

O THOU MOST HIGH GOD HAILE SELASSIE I JAH RASTAFARI
