Compare the contemporary laws in Egypt, Mesopotamia, Phoenisia and Israel. These laws were quit archaic. I am glad their archeological evidence exists to day for us to study. The laws that gorverned the proto Israel are there in the bible for us to learn from. Where we are coming from. In the New Testament St. Paul explains it well that the Ultimate Supreme Law is LOVE.

Egyptian SPIRITUALITY has never condoned Slavery. The is a difference between spiritual law and legal law. Bible SPIRITUAL law ordains Slavery and the beating of slaves. That fact is true, but so has every other thing been instrumentised and mechanised by babylon for her actions. I could have missed your point then. Right now my point is, I even without the existence of the bible and quran, morden day slavery would still have happened until the emergence of a world wide conscious revolution movement, Rastafari the Head.

It's folly to compare legal laws of a country to the laws which we are told have been sent down from GOD Almighty in a book which is God inspired or even God written and therefore infallible...As often put by Chrsitians. The example of THAT scripture clearly shows this cannot be true. Why you moved the reasoning to whether the Bible is responsible for modern day slavery I DONT KNOW. The scripture was brought up simply to show how the Bible isn't always literally correct or righteous in its script. And isn't always within line of Rastafari teaching. So you gone way LEFT. But in response: Global white supremacy is the cause behind modern chattel slavery. Something which the Bible and Christianity is a part of. But not in its entirety no of course not...
