Nice reasonings Garveys Africa! As there were too many posts to catch up on, I simply read your original one............AND I COMPLETELY AGREE! InI would rather drink our water (knowledge/wisdom) from the ORIGINAL and PUREST source.............Kush/Kemet. Why drink polluted/tainted waters? For what? When the source is CLEAN! Why deal with second rate knowledge when we are the originators of FIRST RATE knowledge! Too many (per)VERSIONS in the buy-bull. Too much influence from foreign men with foreign ways. To many isms and skisms. So many racist and sexist stories that InI KNOW have nothing to do with the Most High or InI Kulcha. In regards to "Jeeezus"..........fiyah bun that! InI deal with the original Nubian KRST consciousness. Cosmological principles told in human form.

@ vr sometimes i just want to say whats improtant to me and i think judgement day and if you would believe in it once the signs are there is a topic that has somthing to do with the story of jesus and the bible. and things like "i dont trust the gouvernment" are always a possible answer nowadays. lol i still think its ok to post some food depanding questions of the nazarite vow in the ital food thread. but i know that ga isnt interested in anything else than discussing strictly bible related things anymore in here and i can understand that. the gouvernemnt and their opportunities arent worth a discussion in here anyways even though i wanted to mention things (project blue beam). thats allright to me. blackheart has just said that everything with vinegar isnt for him and he doesnt want to have the whole biblical aspect in the ital food thread again and i respect that. so i will be careful. to me thats all and im ok with it. its not really worth an argument, is it? so please see that it was not on purpose and i dont want to confuse nobody and i wont go off-topic again from now on. sometimes i really wonder about the communication problems of human beings. in many forums you cant read a thread without reading some arguments between users. so let me say that i want to avoid this. i feel like i just wanted to mention things that were on my mind but i should respect the original topics and opinions of others. if i have the feeling that i have to speak about something else ill start a new thread. ---------------------------------------------------------- this thread has some interesting discussion anyways. like ive said. to me there is one creator and i wont hide behind the bible.

Powerful thread man! I can see that there are many Rasta people with understanding who dont tolerate biblical ignorance. There are many things to be mentioned wich are contradictions,foolishness,ignorance etc. in the bible. However I see much purifying has been done already so Im afraid if I post something it might have already been discussed here. Nevertheless I'm sure theres much more to burn in order to cleanse our minds and spirits from religious confusion and bondage. For now I would just like to state that the man called Moses (whose historical existence is another topic) isnt the author of Genesis.And I doubt the other four books either.Sumerian tablets written 2000 years before moses lived give the same account of creation even Adam and eve and their decendants. I think many other things are also taken from other ancient texts and then changed a little here and there to fit the religious propaganda. The serpent is NOT evil most ancients and mystics even today know that the serpent is sacred and is a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment. It all makes sense though when you look at religion and the ignorance and slavery it casts upon its followers you will see why the ancient serpent who wishes to enlighten man and woman through knowledge is described as an adversary. But then the question,whose adversary? Certainly not the adversary of the blind people enslaved by biblical or other similar propaganda.But the adversary of those who seek to keep the masses asleep and without knowledge and wisdom to free up themselves and have a mind of their own. Keep the fire burning!

About "Moses", I always think he could not possibly have written the books, because the account of Moses' death and what happened afterwards is included (Deuteronomy ch. 34). And even if "Moses" was the one telling the stories, and others wrote them generations later, that doesnt prove that Moses originated the stories. The information given about Moses is that he was trained as a priest in "Egypt", so this would be the natural explanation of where he would have gotten the stories and rituals. I am guessing that Sumerians migrated there from Afrika, bringing the stories with them. Iyest LOVE and peace to All.

Moses was a fictional character. I have yet to see an ocean or sea split down the middle for any man. Also, it says after he murdered the African and ran to Median he was 40 years old. And when he returned to Egypt to free 'his people' and go into the desert he was 80 YEARS OLD. Seriously - an 80 year old man isn't leading anybody through the desert and away from the strongest army on the planet. And then to survive the desert for a further 40 years....... I don't buy it, too supernatural Lastly, the scriptures incorrectly label the Nysut as 'Pharoah.' Surely Moses would have known the correct name given the fact he was brought up in Egypt and talked to the Nysut directly himself? For me, he didn't exist as a literal character in any shape or form

But when you see that Abraham didnt / couldnt have existed literally. Than all the prophets there after are disproved by default, making the Moses argument mute. Abraham seems to be a direct copy of the older Brahma.

I really dont know if Moses and Abraham are fictitious characters or real historical figures. I think theres no proof that can prove either belief. But thats not so much what I am concerned with when it comes to bible.Wether they existed or not is something I leave aside because theres nothing to prove or disprove that as far as I know. However I think that people who boast and claim that they are real are doing worst than those who claim they arent. There are many myths and sci-fi books wich I dont have to bash.But the difference with the bible is that its a book wich tells the reader he MUST have faith that its true just because its written WITHOUT actually seeing such things happen. The thing is if such things like the sea being split etc. really did happen than why dosnt anything like that happen today? I tend to keep an open mind still when it comes to drawing a line between real-supernatural as I know that many things that can be considered supernatural by the average man are possible like telepathy or dimensional travel and science is beginning to learn and aprove of these things also.With that said I am still against the idea of blindly believing in the things described in the bible and the obligation to be a believer in things you never seen yourself to be 'saved'(mental slavery). There are also examples of madness caused by bible where preachers have drowned or got torn to pieces by lions because they thought they can walk on water or be like daniel. I find the similarity between Abraham and Sara to Brahma and Saraswati very interesting too. Another case of copying is not excluded. peace.

Bless up. I hear u. What I will add is that How can anybody really prove none existance of something? Can you prove (I mean prove) the tooth fairy doesn't exist? The onus should be on the ones who are making the claims to prove that the characters mentioned DO exist rather than vice versa. Also, it's one thing to say that it doesn't matter if the biblical characters are real or not and that its about the message the story or myth is trying to put across. This sounds logical but the problem is when the myth/ allegory is not original and has been plagiarised AND misinterpreted and in parts mistranslated from the original. It gets messy and less clear as to whether the message being portrayed is the actual same as the intended original message. Better to deal with the source or as close to the source as we can get than peripherals Bless up Logic over illogic Natural over supernatural everytime
