Hi everybody,

I was doing some reading around Rastafari and I came about this paper (http://debate.uvm.edu/dreadlibrary/katzm.html). Here, the author talks about the six holy truths in which all Rasta's believe. One of them concerns me, which is "The White person is inferior to the Black person". Is this just someone speaking or is there some truth?

Some people believe that, but it is not the way or thoughts of Haile Selassie I. That stems from beliefs of people before RasTafarI, and it was held onto by some people. Haile Selassie I is clear on His view about that in several speeches.

Bobo speak of Black Supremacy, but when they speak of black and white in that context, it is not about skin colour, it is about Righteousness (black) and wickedness (white).
