What does the word "lol" mean?I have came across this word many times and it is usually placed at the end of a sentence.One man once said the word is derived from a satanic phrase "lord of lucifer."Is any of the I's know about this?

many teens and young adults us it was Laugh Out Loud but it is known to to used as Lots of Love as well.

I thought LOL stood for laugh out loud. I have never heard of any other meaning for it.
