Greetings I posted similar post earlier InI is vegan but recently came across an article stayin this

"Rastafari is thus strongly linked to ancient Jewish food laws. From the perspective of the New Testament, these food laws no longer need to be kept (see for example 1 Timothy 4:1-3, which states that all foods were 'created to be received with thanksgiving'). St. Paul even wrote, 'One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables"

I don't see good Eatin flesh nor fish yet it says that who eats vegetables is for those of weak faith which InI don't have I strongly belief and stand in the righteous way and Jah guides me through this cold world . Blessings !

If Saul had not written his epistles and included them in the Bible,
then it would have been impossible for Satan to deceive and confuse the world!

Bless..

Throughout the new testament, we see Jesus providing fish for the people who came to hear Him speak and lookng for blessing, i.e. the little boy with two fish and five loaves of bread. When the boy gave Jesus the fish and bread, He fed the multitude, over 5,000 people. So if it is wrong to eat fish, why did Jesus do this?

chica,

You lack understanding!

I think you are one of those people who followed Jesus on the other side of the sea,
Who followed Him not because of the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled, seen?
John 6:25-27..........read it please!

Jesus did not intend to feed the people with the fish, no!
But through His great wisdom and love, Christ intended to teach and show signs that would help you and me to understand, seen?

If you think He intended to feed you with the fish,
then why did He refuse to do the same thing the next day you followed Him asking for more?

Be wise!

Jesus did not teach without a parable or a sign,
So all the miracles He performed were but just signs for the people to believe He was the Messiah, seen?

You see,
His first miracle when He turned water into wine...was His first sign,
to teach that religious teachings(water) would be turned into drunkeness(wine).

So do you think Christ gave the people wine to drink so as to promote drunkenness or folly?
Because if you say there is nothing wrong with eating fish just because Christ fed the people with fish,
then you are also saying there is nothing wrong with drinking wine(Solomon said it is a mocker), by the same judgement!

Hahaha..

chica,

You don't have to drink wine just because Jesus gave the people wine to drink at the wedding,
Neither do you have to eat fish just because Jesus fed the people with fish, seen?

One love!

Greetings

In I eyes not every descision we make in life has to come from the bible. We are capable of making descisions for ourselves by ourselves, RasTafarI give InI a conscience, sometime we need to listen to that. I dont eat any flesh because I believe in the sanctity of life. Every living thing has the right to life. Seen?

Thank you for your reply. It has been very helpful. And thank you for your patience. Some posters seem condescending in their responses. I am on a journey, trying to understand. And so while my question my have seemed utterly stupid to some, it was valid to me, and you have provided a valid response. As I continue my search I will remember your wisdome, but even more than that, I will remember your kindness. Many thanks.
