I think the OAU is interesting to every Rastaman, because this organization is a good step forward to a free and united Afrika.
Emperor Haile Selassie I was devoted and livicated to the idea of African Unity and put a lot of work and effort in the creation of the OAU. I would like to know if the Idren can tell I what happened to the OAU - does it play an impotant role in African politics today ??
Is there any possibility to support the organization ??

As far as I know, the OAU does not exist anymore... but there is a new Organisation that sprang out of the OAU, called AU.
The greatest goal the OAU hit was the victory over apartheid.
