Every 20,000 years

I was watching tv and there was a show about Egypt and the Sahara and how every twenty thousand years it goes from lakes and lush vegetation to a baron desert. They say that in a couple of more years it will be twenty thousand.Has anyone else seen this or heard of this?

I haven't heard that but it wouldn't surprise I if there is some truth in it. I wouldn't count on it coming at 20000 years.

I saw this same show! It had to do with the rotation ah di earth and how every 20,000 years ih wobble and dats why di monsoon weh usually go up change and go down into di Sahara watering di place and bringing evryting back to life ... green.
I thought about it for a while and ih jst slip out caz I figure it wont be in my lifetime anyway ... lol very interesting tho with the layers ah sediment bataam ah di sea suporting di argument.
