"i am intrestd to which book did the iread that says that HIM was a Jew? i know he is a christian.....but i cannot recall any information where HIM is said to be of Jewish desent....please give a link to the information as it will help to define HIM even more." the book is called the emperor down fall of an autocrat i ripped off the cover it was offensive but the book is a diary if u will of all the palace servents ect ... his majesty is decended of menelyk the first jew king in ethiopia the titlke doesnt match the book

thanks for the info...i will look at it....perhaps my definition of a jew is diffrent.....and it wil be most helpful to have this information.....this is the first time in my 38 years of trodding Rastafari has anyone pointed out litriture that suggested HIM was a jew....perhaps its a recent work....one which i have not yet seen....

ises i.. i have no doubt of the Ethiopian version of the black jews "falasha" this i know. but the fact that a polish writer has written a work on H.I.M being a Jew is a step in the direction of claiming the Ethiopic version of judaism. this adds to my suspicion of take over....again back in the 80's there was a situation in Ethiopia, in which it was asked of Israel to accommodate some falasha jews, these people, now we know that they can prove their originality yes? it was asked of them for a drop of blood to determine if they are real jews!......imagine that!! what do you think is the motive behind the work of this polish writer? i am assuming that you read the work? i will go out and look for that book...and read what he says....but in the mean time we can still discuss the pros and cons of this thing
