I do appreciate his work for bringing his people together, but it also created a sort of prejudice against the common "white man", and seperation of races. Many people in my city are often looking at the common pale skinned man as a threat or as an enemy, but if you show them you have been educated on the TRUTH they nolonger threatin you with violence, and welcome you. Although after seperating himself from the NOI he began preaching to all races, and that was good. He no longer thought "white men" were the enemy, it was the government, that was the overwhelming enemy. Ras ElIjah

I personally feel that I should not have to prove to anyone that I'm "educated on the truth" by their standards or any body else's in order to expect or demand that I not be faced with violence. If you threaten my existence, I don't care if you in a white sheet, a white collar, or a tank top; I'm bussin a cap in yo azz!
