Read the "The Dirty War on Syria" by Professor Tim Anderson. Look into the sniper activity at the 2014 Euromaiden Coup in Ukraine. Listen to former CIA intelligence officer Dr. Michael F. Scheuer speak about U.S. "interventions".

False flag attacks, professional violence agitators/provocateurs, media psyops, impersonating the other side's military and police officials -- these are all such tried and true methods that they have literally been written down in CIA field manuals on subversion and destabilization going back to the formation of the agency. They work because there are dummies in the world who can't (or won't) see beyond the ends of the noses, and there are shills like you who think they can silence the truth by belittling the messenger.

The giant thorn in your side that ISN'T GOING TO GO AWAY is the fact that the people of Venezuela are refusing to follow Washington's script. Washington and its media lackeys are very good at demonizing foreign leaders, but if the narrative about President Maduro were true then a real opposition leader (not this Ivy League stooge groomed by Washington) would have emerged and would have been able to pull off a U.S.-backed coup with popular support.

Bottom line: The popular backing ISN'T there. The repeated failed outcomes of these Guaido circuses demonstrates that beyond refutation. That's the turd in your propaganda punch bowl, Hemphill, and it's not going away. Where's the popular support? If the people of Venezuela wanted Maduro ousted and they knew that they had the U.S. on their side, there'd be an enormous groundswell of support. Instead, this clown Guaido can't even leave his pampered exclusive neighborhood for the neighborhoods where ordinary Venezuelans live without the protection of the Venezuelan military -- that's right, the Venezuelan military! Now what kind of "brutal dictatorship" dispatches 60 or 70 uniformed soldiers to PROTECT a seditious "Opposition" traitor?

Well since you are intent on derailing this with pointless back and forth garbage.. Heres the truth and bottom line. Maduro was on his way to fleeing to Cuba but Russia and China backed him and convinced him to stay. You are supporting a murderer who has the Kremlin and Chinese Communism behind him. Disgusting. You want to blame EVERYTHING on 'Washington' -- when large amounts of humanitarian aid have been sent -- but are wilfully ignorant of China -- you actually celebrate China conquering Africa -- and Russia and their role in the sufferage of the people of Venezuela.

Of course I blame it on Washington. The orchestrators of Venezuela's turmoil in Washington are very open about all of the illegal activities they've undertaken to make it happen. If they're proud of their illicit actions why shouldn't I call them out on them?

The only guy who claimed that Maduro was ready to leave was Mike Pompous-eo (a known lying sack of shit) with no confirmation from anyone else and formal denials from all of the parties he claims were involved. Once again, the Washington narrative falls apart - there was no imminently successful coup in the offing (READ: NO LARGE SCALE POPULAR SUPPORT), so the elected president had no reason to ready a plane to flee the country. Geez, Hemphill, citing Mike Pompeo as a source of "truth" is like citing Titanic Captain E.J. Smith as the foremost authority on safe navigation in ice-prone waters.

(By the way "sufferage" refers to the right to vote in political elections. Are you implying that Russia has some role in ensuring that Venezuelans have the right to vote?)

You are truly lost.

You laugh as Maduro orders the killings of innocent people so he can cling to power.

I pray for them. You laugh at them

I'm still not hearing reports of ANY fatalities (Gracias a Dios). Surely if what you are saying were true then we'd have a body count by now. No such body count yet. Despite an open call by US puppet Guaido for an armed insurrection using lethal weapons, the government of Venezuela has responded with restraint such that thankfully there aren't any fatalities (at least none that I've seen reported). Nevertheless, it is VERY CLEAR that bloodshed and fatalities is exactly what Guaido and his US puppet masters want in order to create a media sensation so if they CAN'T provoke the Venezuelan public security forces into defending themselves with live ammunition, then I have no doubt that they will be willing to engage in false flag killings.

Si. Señor Guaido es un payaso pero estas equivocado: no estoy riendo

Under the Trump Administration, Washington has gone from operating as a pseudo-covert criminal organization (i.e., thinly veiling its criminality at times) to engaging in overt international gangster behavior and organized crime.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TELESUR April 30, 2019

Russia's Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced that "if Washington does not stop interfering in the affairs of Venezuela, it will lead to the collapse of the situation."

She commented also that some Washington politicians cannot appreciate how destructive that path can be "which is strange because everyone else already sees it".

Zakharova made these statements after U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton publicly requested a "regime change" in Venezuela.

During a press conference from New York, the Venezuelan ambassador to the United Nations Samuel Moncada said that Tuesday’s “coup attempt seeks to promote a puppet government, but failed because most of our people want to live in peace and with the right to self-determination."

The Venezuelan official also called on the international community to reject the far-right violent attempt, for it “violates every U.N Charter and undermines peace."

The diplomat pointed out that the U.S. government has openly admitted that it has participated in today's new conspiracy act and commented that “it's a psychopathic, warlike elite that is using all media with a bombardment of fake news."

Jill Stein, a medical doctor and former Green Party candidate in the U.S. presidential elections in 2012 and 2016, rejected the Trump administration's attempt to destabilize Venezuela in order to grab its oil resources:

“The people of Venezuela shouldn't be made to suffer a bloody civil war to satisfy the greed of foreign investors. Bolton & Trump have said outright: WE WANT THEIR OIL. US desperately needs a true opposition party & independent media that won’t just rubber-stamp war for profit.”- Jill Stein

-The U.S. has engineered many violent and non-violent coups to overthrow & replace foreign governments around the world. Nothing new in this.

-The U.S. usually pretends that it has nothing to do with engineering a coup (i.e., they're kinda, sorta pseudo-covert), but everybody knows who's behind it and the CIA's fingerprints are virtually always found by investigative journalists and/or historians after the fact.

-To my knowledge, the U.S. has never before outright anointed a foreign puppet head-of-state in the open, had him "self-install", immediately recognized the unlawful usurpation, and then demanded that its vassals join in violating the UN Charter by officially recognizing him "or else". That's a new gangster-style strong-arming tactic.

-After engineering successful coups, the U.S. has, not surprisingly, immediately recognized its new puppet leader as the official head of the newly-established foreign government. Nothing new in this.

-To the best of my knowledge, the U.S. president, Secretary of State, National Security Advisor, and Congressional leaders have never publicly cheered on the perpetrators of an attempted U.S.-engineered violent coup in real time while the coup was in progress as if it were a football game. This represents a new low even for the organized crime bosses in Washington DC.

Visualize the obscenity of the Secretary of State, the top U.S. "diplomat", openly engaging in such thuggery (Of course, I can already hear people saying, "There goes Nesta again. Doesn't he remember U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell sitting before the UN in 2003 delivering a well-rehearsed, prefabricated pack of lies with a straight face to justify an illegal war of aggression against Iraq?")

On Wednesday afternoon, senior U.S. officials gathered at the White House to discuss possible military options for Venezuela.

Meanwhile, the Russians are warning of grave consequences if the U.S. invades, and so the stage is being set for a potential showdown between the world’s two foremost military powers. Previously, administration officials had hoped that the Venezuelan people would rally around Juan Guaido to such a degree that it would not require military intervention to oust Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, but that hasn’t happened. In fact, Guaido’s big push to start a revolution in the streets over the past few days has ended up being a total flop. The following comes from Yahoo News…

Guaido had called for the “largest march” in Venezuela’s history and said on Twitter that “millions of Venezuelans” were in the streets in “this final phase” of his move to oust Maduro.

But by late afternoon, many of the protesters in the capital Caracas were drifting home.

Despite Guaido’s calls for the military to support him, the armed forces leadership has so far remained loyal to Maduro, who has been in power since 2013.

In the long-term, the situation in Venezuela isn’t going to change much if the U.S. is able to replace one socialist president (Maduro) with another socialist president (Guaido). Socialism always ends badly, and the people of Venezuela are going to have to decide for themselves that they don’t want socialism any longer.

But that isn’t what this is about. U.S. officials have decided that it is time to impose their will on the people of Venezuela, and they have determined that Maduro must go. If Guaido cannot create a successful internal revolution, then other options will be explored.
