His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie 1, of Ethiopia comes to establish the kingdom of God on earth. As it says in the Lords prayer, Thy kingdom come on earth ...as it is in Heaven. It is not just out of sentiments that I say this, but through the words of the Holy Scriptures and the divine inspiration of the Most High. The Christian Scripture teaches that Jesus the Christ in his charge to his disciples (Mat. 28: 18 -19): All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The first Ethiopian on record to be baptized was the Ethiopian Eunuch that the Scripture spoke of being baptized by Phillip a disciple of Christ. Ethiopia then became the first Christian Nation and has maintained this tradition through out the ages. In this tradition Tafari Makonnen was baptized and became Haile Selassie. Then the Christian Church of Ethiopia, through the power vested in it by Jesus, poured the sacred oil of annointment on its son, Haile Selasie (the Power of the Holy Trinity; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) to sit upon the throne of David and rule His people in righteousness. How was this all possible?

Let us examine all this very closely. Firstly, the Christian Church through the power of Jesus in the earth baptized Tafari Makonnen as Haile Selassie. With this baptism, Haile Selassie being born of the water and the spirit put off the old man, Tafari Maconnen to become a new man and member of the kingdom of God. This newness of spirit and person is the essence of the Church's teaching with respect to baptism. Paul says to the Romans: "Know ye not that us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory of he Father, even so we walk in the newness of life." To the Galatians he said, "As many of you as have been baptized in Christ have put on Christ. In the case of His Imperial Majesty putting on Christ at his baptism, he would magnify Christ even more when he ascended the Throne of David in the form of the Power of the Holy Trinity. With the same power and authority of Jesus, the Church anointed Haile Selassie (The Power of the Holy Trinity) with the Holy Oil of Samuel to sit upon the Throne of David. With this authority He rules as King of Kings and Lord of Lords in Ethiopia and .his people scattered throughout the world. What is the meaning of baptism for the Church and its people? Does it really transform one to the spiritual world, or is it only a hollow political ritual, as some would have us believe? All the essential doctrines of Christianity are real to the Ethiopians and are observed very rigorously. As with the baptism, so also the anointing of the King with the Holy Oil of anointing. Certainly this sacred rite carried out by the Church is not an empty gesture, but without a doubt, a very true and legitimate observance commanded by God and his Son, Jesus Christ. Did Haile Selassie fulfill his divine mission, or failed, as his political detractors and agents of Satan tried to claim. Let us now examine His administration.

Ethiopia for centuries was isolated from the rest of the world, but in its isolation it lived closely to God. This enabled Ethiopia to withstand many assaults from jealous nations, who sought to destroy her and take her riches. The Europeans, in their final bid to take all of Africa, launched an attack that stands to this day as one of the most barbaric acts in human history. This attack happened in the reign of Emperor Haile Selassie, who through the will of Almighty God and the bravery of the Ethiopians eventually triumphed. This also became the starting point of Ethiopia's entry into modern civilization and the end of its isolation. Slowly but surely His Imperial Majesty Brought Ethiopia into world view in peace and stability. Of course the Kingdom of God is never spared from jealous rivalry and the ever-present threat of revenge of the defeated, so repeated attempts have been made to undermine and disrupt the establishment of God's Kingdom.

In review of the progress of Ethiopia in his 1965 Throne speech, His Imperial Majesty had this to say: "We bow in thanks to Almighty God for the gifts which He has bestowed on Our beloved country and pray for His continued support and strength throughout the coming year. Today, We must once again remark upon the sweeping changes, which have overtaken Ethiopia. The nation today stands poised upon the edge of the second decade of her post-war constitutional development. The ten years just passed here have witnessed great and momentous achievements in every phase of Ethiopia's existence. Wherever one turns, if he has but eyes to see and the willingness to look clearly and honestly, the Ethiopian nation has been utterly transformed in the brief period which has elapsed since 1955 when We promulgated for Our people Ethiopia's first written Constitution. But how much greater have been the changes of the far longer time since 1931. And searching further back into the past how far has the nation traveled only during the years of Our lifetime.

We were born into the period when the colonial powers carved Africa into so-called spheres of influence. We were but an infant when gallant Ethiopians, acting in accordance with their heroic tradition and in defense of their homeland, sent the invaders reeling back in dismay, disorder and defeated at the battle of Adowa. We witnessed the construction of the vital rail link, which for so long afforded Ethiopia her sole outlet to the sea. We watched during the First World War as the colonial powers, now pitted one against the other destroyed life and property on a scale hitherto unknown to man. We looked on the birth of the League of Nations, and We led Ethiopia into membership in that body, hopeful that the crimes of the period of Africa's colonialisation and World War 1 would be set aright and adequate safeguards erected against their future occurrence.

We fought through the ignoble period of appeasement when Ethiopia struggled in the unequal combat with the fascists; when tyranny achieved temporary supremacy over right and justice; when poison gas and modern weaponry carried the battle against raw courage and bravery. We struggled for five long years against the invader, Our voice alone crying of the horrors and outrages committed against Our people, seeking to rally the free world to Our cause, a constant and living reminder before their eyes that principle had yielded to the totalitarian bully. We campaigned, comrade in arms, with the heroic men who had resisted from within during the five long years, united on the battlefield with the gallant Allied Forces, who were joint in the conflict against the brutality and despotism of those who would control the world and rob mankind of human dignity and individual freedom. We rejoice with Our people and with right-minded people the world over as the enemy laid down arms and Ethiopia was reborn a free and independent nation. Who can deny the pride and hope which a Liberated Ethiopia afforded the still-colonized people of Africa?

Those decades witnessed momentous events. So have the busy years since 1941 marked unceasing activity and constant change in the way of life of Our people. Roads have been built. Aviation has linked the farthest part of the Empire. Telephonic and telegraphic communications have brought Ethiopia into intimate contact with her friends and neighbors abroad. The structure of government has been modernized. Ethiopia's armed forces have been equipped with modern arms and brought to a high level of proficiency in the techniques of modern warfare. Trade and commerce have flourished. Ethiopia's ancient ports on the Red Sea have been returned to the service of the nation and brother has been reunited with brother. An effective system of provincial administration has been established. Schools have brought the benefits of modern learning to ever-increasing numbers of Ethiopia's youth. Public health faculties have spared Our people from the ravages of hitherto unchecked diseases. Modern cities, of which Addis Ababa is but one, have grown in prosperity during these years.

The developments have followed one another at an ever-increasing pace, for change is the Law of life. The physical changes have been impressive. But even more impressive - and equally, if not more important - have been the changes wrought in the mentality and psychology of the Ethiopian people. The physical face of Ethiopia shall continue to change in the years ahead. Ethiopia's cities and towns shall continue to grow. Agriculture shall be modernized. Communications shall weld the nation ever closer. So, too shall the future witness the introduction to even more drastic and revolutionary changes into the mental attitudes and outlook of the people. New questions shall be posed to our ancient, traditional and customary habits of thought. Long-held concepts and beliefs shall come under ever-closer critical scrutiny and examination. Our response to these challenges will decide the future.

The emergence of Ethiopia from her centuries of self-imposed and self-enforced isolation was itself a sharp break with the concept that physical separation was essential to the nation's precious independence. Only isolation, it was believed, could guarantee security from the repeated invasion mounted against Ethiopia by those who would despoil her land and rob her people. The nation's solitude had thus to be jealously preserved and maintained. Today how far We have come; each year, Ethiopia plays host to increasing thousands of foreign visitors who travel to Our countryside, to view the richness of Our culture, the beauty of Our countryside, the charm of Our people in their way of life. No longer uncertain of Our ability to protect Our vital interest, no longer questioning whether Our strength is indeed sufficient to protect Us against the exploiter, Ethiopia today welcomes all who seek entry at her frontiers, and we seek the technology and expertise which others can bring to Our development. Many say that His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie, King of kings of Ethiopia could not be God, because He does not claim to be and even denighs that he is. One thing pointed out by the scripture is that "Many shall come in My name", and often enough we hear of the different claimants, coming as some form of the messiah, or a direct messenger from Christ. Like Jesus, who through the performance of great works, His Imperial Majesty manifested the Power of the Holy Trinity in deeds throughout His reign as King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and not by making claim to his divinity. Many would have him make claims of being God, but let those who have eyes to see, see, and those who have hears to hear, let them hear.

The scripture testifies in many instances of HIM and it is only those who are of the Kingdom of God to recognize HIM in His divine character. In John 15: 26: Jesus says, But when He the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He Shall testify of me. Howbeit when He the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak; and he shall show you thongs to come. Since Rastaman say that He is God, because of his true testimony of the Almighty and his Son, Jesus, they would have loved to hear him claim to be God so that they could condemn him, as they condemned Jesus. Through the power of the Holy trinity, He has come to reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness.

In Revelation, John encounters the one who sat on the throne and was worthy to lose the seven seals, and when the seals were broken the Angels pored from the vials of wrath upon the earth in judgement. Then a voice come out of the throne saying, Blessed are they that are called to the wedding supper of the Lamb. And John fell at his feet to worship him, and he said ,See that you do it not, I am the fellow servant and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus, worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is prophesy.

This distinction is important, because at all times God manifest Himself in this world to guide mankind when they run on a course of self-destruction , through self-will, and know not where to turn. Jesus Christ having come for the salvation of man, died and when He ascended to his kingdom, sent the Comforter in The Power of the Holy Trinity. The spirit of truth came to earth on the Throne of David to reprove the world of sin and of righteousness, and establish the way of peace and harmony among mankind. The son of David, Tafari Makonnen, descended from Solomon was the vehicle chosen . Upon his renewal in the body of Christ, He became The Power of the Holy Trinity.

Even after two thousand years of Jesus' teachings, mankind has still not been able to establish peaceful coexistence. They went so far that many of the bloodiest wars were fought the name of Jesus. Many peoples were decimated and completely wiped out from the face of the earth while their possession were taken, claiming that it was for the establishment of the kingdom of Christ. The continent of Africa became a place where Christians (European supposed Christians) came to bring the message of Christ, but instead raped, ravished, murdered, and enslaved the entire continent except for Ethiopia.

Even though Ethiopia was one of the first countries to officially accept Christianity with the baptism of the Ethiopian Government official by Phillip the Apostle, the Europeans made several unsuccessful attempts to invade her. The Muslims, a group that evolved out reaction to the oppression of the Christians, was also the cause of many of the bloody wars with the Christians. Many of these destructive trends came to a head when His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie came to rule. Two of the biggest Wars mankind has ever seen were fought, and some of the most gruesome acts of genocide were committed, as in the case of the Fascist Italy's annihilation of Ethiopia and her people, and the Jewish holocaust by Hitler of Germany. Imagine the fury and venom of the Satan when he had to confront God's Divine Power. The forces of Satan did put up a gallant battle but could not prevail against God's Power. The reign of peace began but the Satanic forces endeavored to reestablish their control of the earth. They contended with God's righteous rule by establishing themselves as the Super Powers of the World. These Powers proceeded to divide the world into their several spheres of influence and created strife and turmoil among the smaller, less developed nations. While His Imperial Majesty (God's Imperial Majesty), Emperor Haile Selassie worked assiduously to establish peace. Satan created so much political and economic distraction among the smaller nations, those they call the Third World Nations, that they had no time to pursue their peaceful evolution. His Imperial Majesty established Ethiopia as the nucleus of African Unity, the coming together of the African nations, but these Satanic forces worked even harder and attacked the various Governments putting them into one camp or the other and making the unity so much harder. Ethiopia soon came under the pressure and the people buckled and submitted to the call of Satan.

Of course Satan has always presented a beautiful picture and the prospects of greater success, but alas, he never delivers. Following the trend of getting rid of their tradition and removal of their rulers, they asked the King of Kings to step down and started a new political climate. Ethiopia plunged into a period of unprecedented destruction after they decided relieve themselves of the Authority of God and accept Satan's rule. Wars mushroomed which split the nation into several pieces, internal genocide (the Red Purge); famines which took infinitely more lives than they claimed Emperor, Haile Selassie had caused; economic instability, and the mass migration of her people for other lands. Even now the problems persist as Ethiopia continues to go the course of Satan, and refuse to stretch her hand to God. Ethiopia shall know no peace until and unless she returns to God. And as she was the beacon of Africa, her influence is sadly missed as is evidenced by the mounting trend of conflicts throughout the continent.

I found this on a website thought that the I's would like it.
