With Italian declaring Ethiopia apart of its empire and an Italian declaring himself Emperor of Ethiopia for 5 years, Garvey's position is peferctly understood. Ethiopia was the hope and jewel of Africans in dat time and to see the leader of her in "exile" was detrimental to the spirit of Africans everywhere. She was our last hope and for another white country to occupy it seems like all was lost.
So I feel him on his statements but the Emperor done what he thought was needed to accomplish what was needed!
