A tiger born with no stripes is still a tiger
A white tiger is still a tiger

A 3/4 lion 1/4 tiger is this still a tiger?

That is not an accurate comparison. The difference between humans is more like the difference between a white and orange tiger than the difference between a tiger and a lion.

Ark I right. Black and white is the same species. The analogy would be better maybe for the African Lion compared to the Asiatic Lion for example
