King James Version: Zephaniah Chapter 1
1 The word of the LORD which came unto
Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of
Gedaliah , the son of Amariah , the son of
Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon ,
king of Judah .
2 I will utterly consume all things from off the
land, saith the LORD.
3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume
the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the
sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked:
and I will cut off man from off the land, saith
the LORD.
4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah,
and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem ; and
I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this
place, and the name of the Chemarims with the
priests;
5 And them that worship the host of heaven
upon the housetops; and them that worship
and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by
Malcham;
6 And them that are turned back from the
LORD; and those that have not sought the
LORD, nor enquired for him.
7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord
GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for
the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice , he hath
bid his guests.
8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the
LORD's sacrifice , that I will punish the princes,
and the king's children, and all such as are
clothed with strange apparel.
9 In the same day also will I punish all those
that leap on the threshold, which fill their
masters' houses with violence and deceit.
10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith
the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry
from the fish gate, and an howling from the
second, and a great crashing from the hills.
11 Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh , for all the
merchant people are cut down; all they that
bear silver are cut off.
12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that
I will search Jerusalem with candles, and
punish the men that are settled on their lees:
that say in their heart, The LORD will not do
good, neither will he do evil.
13 Therefore their goods shall become a
booty, and their houses a desolation: they
shall also build houses, but not inhabit them;
and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink
the wine thereof.
14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is
near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the
day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry
there bitterly.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble
and distress, a day of wasteness and
desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess,
a day of clouds and thick darkness,
16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the
fenced cities, and against the high towers .
17 And I will bring distress upon men, that
they shall walk like blind men, because they
have sinned against the LORD: and their blood
shall be poured out as dust , and their flesh as
the dung .
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be
able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's
wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by
the fire of his jealousy : for he shall make even
a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the
land.

King James Version: Zephaniah Chapter 2
1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather
together, O nation not desired;
2 Before the decree bring forth, before the
day pass as the chaff , before the fierce anger
of the LORD come upon you, before the day of
the LORD's anger come upon you.
3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment; seek
righteousness , seek meekness: it may be ye
shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger.
4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a
desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the
noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.
5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast,
the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the
LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the
Philistines , I will even destroy thee, that there
shall be no inhabitant.
6 And the sea coast shall be dwellings and
cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks.
7 And the coast shall be for the remnant of
the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon:
in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down
in the evening: for the LORD their God shall
visit them, and turn away their captivity .
8 I have heard the reproach of Moab , and the
revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby
they have reproached my people, and
magnified themselves against their border.
9 Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts,
the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as
Sodom , and the children of Ammon as
Gomorrah , even the breeding of nettles, and
saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the
residue of my people shall spoil them, and the
remnant of my people shall possess them.
10 This shall they have for their pride, because
they have reproached and magnified
themselves against the people of the LORD of
hosts.
11 The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he
will famish all the gods of the earth; and men
shall worship him, every one from his place,
even all the isles of the heathen .
12 Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my
sword.
13 And he will stretch out his hand against the
north, and destroy Assyria; and will make
Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a
wilderness.
14 And flocks shall lie down in the midst of
her, all the beasts of the nations: both the
cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the
upper lintels of it; their voice shall sing in the
windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds;
for he shall uncover the cedar work.
15 This is the rejoicing city that dwelt
carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and
there is none beside me: how is she become a
desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in!
every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and
wag his hand.

King James Version: Zephaniah Chapter 3
1 Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the
oppressing city!
2 She obeyed not the voice; she received not
correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she
drew not near to her God.
3 Her princes within her are roaring lions; her
judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the
bones till the morrow.
4 Her prophets are light and treacherous
persons: her priests have polluted the
sanctuary , they have done violence to the law.
5 The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will
not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring
his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the
unjust knoweth no shame.
6 I have cut off the nations: their towers are
desolate; I made their streets waste, that none
passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that
there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
7 I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt
receive instruction; so their dwelling should
not be cut off, howsoever I punished them:
but they rose early, and corrupted all their
doings.
8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD,
until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my
determination is to gather the nations, that I
may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon
them mine indignation, even all my fierce
anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with
the fire of my jealousy .
9 For then will I turn to the people a pure
language, that they may all call upon the name
of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my
suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed,
shall bring mine offering.
11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for
all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed
against me: for then I will take away out of the
midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride,
and thou shalt no more be haughty because of
my holy mountain.
12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an
afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust
in the name of the LORD.
13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity,
nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue
be found in their mouth: for they shall feed
and lie down, and none shall make them
afraid.
14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel;
be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O
daughter of Jerusalem .
15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments,
he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of
Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee:
thou shalt not see evil any more.
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem ,
Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands
be slack.
17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is
mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee
with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy
over thee with singing.
18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for
the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to
whom the reproach of it was a burden.
19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that
afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth,
and gather her that was driven out; and I will
get them praise and fame in every land where
they have been put to shame.
20 At that time will I bring you again, even in
the time that I gather you: for I will make you
a name and a praise among all people of the
earth, when I turn back your captivity before
your eyes, saith the LORD.

What is the purpose of these posts? You flood the website which is meant for reasoning and debate with these copy and paste exerts from your bible. I would overstand if you were offering your perspective and interpretation with each verse chapter or book. But your simply regurgitating and leaving it there. The people dem don't need you to read the bible to them
Could you imagine what the website would look like if everyone simply copied and pasted every and anything they were reading at the time?

It would be more wise for you to tell us what you think based on what you have read, sharing a little where you feel necessary. Unless you want InI to interpret for you? Is that it?

Your new here but this isn't a place to simply spam. That will probably get you banned.

Peace

This biblical parroting, bible bashing and mindless scriptural vomiting is a perfect example of religious fanaticism, in the spirit of western Christianity.

King James Version: Joel Chapter 2
1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion , and sound an
alarm in my holy mountain: let all the
inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of
the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day
of clouds and of thick darkness, as the
morning spread upon the mountains: a great
people and a strong; there hath not been ever
the like, neither shall be any more after it,
even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind
them a flame burneth: the land is as the
garden of Eden before them, and behind them
a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall
escape them.
4 The appearance of them is as the appearance
of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of
mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a
flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a
strong people set in battle array.
6 Before their face the people shall be much
pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall
climb the wall like men of war; and they shall
march every one on his ways, and they shall
not break their ranks:
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall
walk every one in his path: and when they fall
upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they
shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up
upon the houses; they shall enter in at the
windows like a thief.
10 The earth shall quake before them; the
heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon
shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw
their shining:
11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before
his army: for his camp is very great: for he is
strong that executeth his word: for the day of
the LORD is great and very terrible; and who
can abide it?
12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye
even to me with all your heart, and with
fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart, and not your
garments, and turn unto the LORD your God:
for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger ,
and of great kindness, and repenteth him of
the evil.
14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent,
and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat
offering and a drink offering unto the LORD
your God?
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion , sanctify a fast,
call a solemn assembly:
16 Gather the people, sanctify the
congregation, assemble the elders, gather the
children, and those that suck the breasts: let
the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and
the bride out of her closet.
17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD,
weep between the porch and the altar , and let
them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give
not thine heritage to reproach, that the
heathen should rule over them: wherefore
should they say among the people, Where is
their God?
18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land,
and pity his people.
19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his
people, Behold, I will send you corn , and wine ,
and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and
I will no more make you a reproach among the
heathen :
20 But I will remove far off from you the
northern army, and will drive him into a land
barren and desolate, with his face toward the
east sea, and his hinder part toward the
utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and
his ill savour shall come up, because he hath
done great things.
21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for
the LORD will do great things.
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the
pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the
tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine
do yield their strength.
23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion , and
rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath
given you the former rain moderately, and he
will cause to come down for you the rain, the
former rain , and the latter rain in the first
month.
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat , and
the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the
locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the
caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great
army which I sent among you.
26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied,
and praise the name of the LORD your God,
that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my
people shall never be ashamed.
27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of
Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and
none else: and my people shall never be
ashamed.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I
will pour out my spirit upon all flesh ; and your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your
old men shall dream dreams, your young men
shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the
handmaids in those days will I pour out my
spirit.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and
in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of
smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and
the moon into blood, before the great and
terrible day of the LORD come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever
shall call on the name of the LORD shall be
delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem
shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said,
and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

King James Version: Joel Chapter 3
1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time,
when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah
and Jerusalem ,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring
them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat , and
will plead with them there for my people and
for my heritage Israel , whom they have
scattered among the nations, and parted my
land.
3 And they have cast lots for my people; and
have given a boy for an harlot , and sold a girl
for wine , that they might drink.
4 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O
Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of
Palestine? will ye render me a recompence?
and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily
will I return your recompence upon your own
head;
5 Because ye have taken my silver and my
gold, and have carried into your temples my
goodly pleasant things:
6 The children also of Judah and the children
of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians ,
that ye might remove them far from their
border.
7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place
whither ye have sold them, and will return
your recompence upon your own head:
8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters
into the hand of the children of Judah, and
they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a
people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles ; Prepare
war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men
of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your
pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I
am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye
heathen , and gather yourselves together round
about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come
down, O LORD.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up
to the valley of Jehoshaphat : for there will I sit
to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe:
come, get you down; for the press is full, the
fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of
decision: for the day of the LORD is near in
the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened,
and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion , and
utter his voice from Jerusalem ; and the
heavens and the earth shall shake: but the
LORD will be the hope of his people, and the
strength of the children of Israel.
17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your
God dwelling in Zion , my holy mountain: then
shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no
strangers pass through her any more.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that
the mountains shall drop down new wine , and
the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers
of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain
shall come forth out of the house of the LORD,
and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall
be a desolate wilderness, for the violence
against the children of Judah , because they
have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and
Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have
not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion
