Greetings to all of Gods children, blessings, more love and full joy to all. I bought my first album, Mek we dweet by burning Spear in !988, ever since I only listen to these wise men who sing about Jah. I know no one who smokes a spliff, most i know like coke and wine (ganja is considered to be for those with no ambition), other than my best and really only friend, my herbs man, blessings to you and your family Michael. the most amazing man I have ever known, always peaceful, forgiving and wise in his words, he has taught me to read my bible every day, and try to be disciplined each day saying my prayers and praises to God. But truly i am very lonely with my thoughts and generally don't voice them as they tend to offend people. I really find it so sad to hear people constantly worrying, fussing and really stressing about what they eat, drink, or smoke. It is absolutely fine to go home watch a porno after the wife has gone to bed and think about some twisted fantasy. But tell them you like junk food and don't go to the gym, "well you are killing yourself". The Bible says, Its not what you put into your body that defiles us, It is our thoughts, words and deeds. (thoughts being the first one!) It seems to matter very much what we do and say, but not what we are thinking. To me it is more important what we are thinking when we talk or are doing something. It is that which Jah sees. Blessings and love to all.

Highest Greetings to the I, One Spark.
Where are you located? Is this friend Michael still living? Bless up.
As for the I's comments about the dichotomies of rIghteousness and unrighteousness in individual lives, (whatever the issue of unrighteousness may be) I&I don't think it is about one or the other type of rIghteousness being more important than the others. I am not sure, who is saying that it is fine to do those things the I mentioned? Rightousness in sexuality is just as important as righteous eating, and as righteous speech, and as righteous employment, and as righteous thinking. It is a holistic Livity of Itinual purification.
True that thoughts are the catalyst for all actions and works. But dirty actions also lead to dirty thoughts. The whole cycle needs to be purified.
I relate with feeling that people would not accept most of the things I think and know, and so I stay quiet when I am around the worldly people. Sometimes it is the right time to talk with these people and debate views, and other times it is just too disruptive and causes arguments. I think most enlightened people feel outcast from society in that way, knowing their views are extreme compared to most of society. That is why I&I&I find sites like this to reason with like minded people or strong minded people who can handle truthful reasoning.
Bless up the I trod in JAH guidance.
Thankhs for life forIvermore.

Greetings!

well. to me, it's all about the ten commandments. i think even if you don't deal with the bible you have to agree that this are just rules of sanity. many philosophers used it too. it's all about following your heart and the righteous path to me. so i agree with you. i used to tell that to my family, my friends and everybody who isn't that connected to rasta.

but in order to profit from the fact that earth is heaven, that jah is not an old white man who sits on a cloud, you have to be conscious and try to be the best man you can be. diet is all about cleaning your body because your body is your temple. to give more power to it and to empower your mind and spirit. to be true to your identity so to speak.

in my view, avoiding sexual perversions is all about to rise from impurity and to see that once you've realized that there is even a much deeper form of satisfaction behind the possibility of receiving a superficial form of pleasure by vacuous sexual experiences, you can combine the needs of your body and soul. but i know that this is not that easy because we have to deal with it every day. it's said that it is never to late to make a positive change. after the storm there must be a calm. so it's all about reaching a higher consciousness. higher heights. this is what we all have to do in life to me.

but it's not always about sins. you have to know right from wrong in general. i think a man can eat babylon fast food and still be a good human being. but we have to be smart and realize that we can improve our daily routines and do much better. so be conscious about your routines and try to use every day to make the most of it.

give thanks to the almighty one

IMHO, health should be your first priority, above all else.

The body is the temple of the soul, and it IS up to you to keep it clean by avoiding Babylon food.

Jah gives us free will; he will not keep your body clean for you. He will, however, if you eat clean, for the way I see it, jah IS the spirit of the vegetables etc.

Because trees, just as all fruits and vegetables, I see as spirits. If you eat in this righteous way, you consume jah in his purest form, and so you keep your body clean.

All the best,

Joe

great words. seems true to be. give thanks!

health is important but to me it's not all about the body. the most important to me is to be focused on jah. mental health. when we can see it by using our mind we can do it.

another thing that has to do with our daily thoughts and behaviour is how we treat the people we meet. i know that some people are shocked when they hear rastas talking about burning things but let's ignore that. i know that it's all about purity. but i know that some rastas are not afraid to "ban" people from their lives or tell them how they feel about some people. i ask myself if it is ok to tell some people to go to hell (not just as an insult but as a statement that you can't deal with them and their point of view in any way). i think capleton or sizzla recently said something like "if they don't wish you well tell them they can go to hell".

sometimes i don't know what to think about people. in my view, we should hate the game instead of the player. so we should burn the sin and not the sinner as human beings because in the end it's all up to the father anyway. i know that i'm not perfect and there were some terrible exceptions in my life (even though i might say that i wasn't that conscious about my actions back then) but without praising myself, i think that at least i'm trying to be a real peaceful man. some might even declare it as weakness nowadays.

so i try to forget about things and let bygones be bygones. i try to forgive people. and i try to learn from my own mistakes in life. and if you don't like something, then you don't have to deal with it. if you know yourself nobody can insult you. we are all jah children. who god bless no man curse. so what are we afraid of. we should all fear jah and not fight each other. especially in this times.

but i think everybody has met much more people than we are friends with. sometimes there are "natural" disputes. i don't try to follow my feelings when i'm frustrated but if you do something with a clean heart and some people won't stop to offend or ignore you, i think we could talk about the feelings we have towards then, can't we? we can still make peace in the future but i don't know if we have to take anything from anybody. i avoid to talk behind peoples back or even calling someone a fool or idiot but as a conclusion i think that the worst sinner can tell everyone about their mistakes because wrong is wrong and will always be wrong so i can call someone a hypocrite when i feel about it.

so is it truely right to ban someone from your life as long as there can't be peace anyway or even to shout at people if they offend you?

well. i dont think we will ever be perfect but i really think that certain things i used to do are really nothing more than part of my past from now on.

like i said, i think everything i did during my life has leaded me to rasta in the end. or at least to certain beliefs and a certain lifestyle. and so i tried to stay away from eating meat but i still ate cheese and eggs. i tried to stay away from drugs but still drank whiskey. and even though i became more and more conscious during my twenties there were always things in my life that were foolishness. especially within the last couple of years. rasta is more about the things you dont do then about things you do maybe.

so right now i avoid to watch tell-lie-vision, hollywood movies, gossip, modern novels which deal with violence and perversions, main stream music as well as slackness in general, video games, materialism, tattoos, piercings, to drink anything else than water and pure juices, i follow a vegan/ ital diet and live a natural lifestyle but babylon trys to mislead you every day while you follow the things you need.

we have to eat but there are so many things that can distract you from living ital. there are more and more products for vegans but they are full of salt. and everywhere you go are this american fast food shops. not only burgers anymore. even those who sell coffee and donuts are everywhere nowadays. we have our sexuality and there are so many possibilites to lead you into perversions. no matter if you check a girl who looks like 25 and shes just 15 or you have those "incest role plays" with your wife. there are even people who rape animals and all of the slackness around us is nothing but prostitution to me that leads you to adultery. we all want to be entertained but the babylon system pollutes us so we cant see how foolish we act when we follow their trends. babylon sitcomes, babylon show business and of course alcohol and cigarettes.

so it might seem like a huge sacrifice but mankind doesnt need those babylonian things. from now on i really try to avoid all those things. this is the first year for me that i use to ignore all the babylon holidays including my birthday for example. many things we do in our daily lives seem to be foolishness so we have to be conscious all the time.

"this is the first year for me that i use to ignore all the babylon holidays"

Its a shame, I see it with almost everybody living here nowadays.

People work for a year to jet off to somewhere foreign. Not to say all travel is wrong, but I see a lot of people have 51 weeks of toil for 1 week when they think that think they are really living, but even then they don't know what it is really like to live.

People don't realize that paradise isn't a thing, or a holiday; it exists within yourself and within nature. And they also don't realize that it is possible to reach that point for 52 weeks of the year.

I pray for all the people who are suffering in this system, that jah may guide them out, both spiritually and physically.

All the best,

Joe

with babylon holiday i meant days like the roman-catholic holidays. christmas etc.

but its true. of course. we are like cows who are leaded from one box into the other. there even is a saying regarding this where i live. they say "your boss will decide when you can travel. your wife will tell you where you can go. and your bank acocunt will tell you for how long." but still people dont get it. chilling poolside in a hotel in hawaii is not the highlight of your life.

i think the main problem is that people dont know who they are. all this half-naked celebrities will froce you to watch babylon movies and listen to their music because they question your manhood. even if you go shopping with your girl. some shop owners say things like "comon. if that would be my girlfriend i would buy her this or that" just to sell their stuff. its disgusting. its always about materialism. if you know you are a man and if you know you are human being you stop to look at your tv screen all day and accept your nature and your envrionment.

bless
