Greetings in the name of God, His promised one, Bahá'u'lláh (ﷺ;) and the Seventh Angel, H.I.M Haile Selassie I (ﷺ;),
I have been rather disturbed lately seeing the posts on the topic "Black supremacy". It's my understanding that God made us all equal, no one is better than another, to quote H.I.M Haile Selassie I (ﷺ;):
“Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned - well, everywhere there's war. And until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race - it's a war. And until there's no longer first-class or second-class citizens of any nation... Until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes - it's a war. Until that day the dream of lasting peace, world citizenship, and a rule of international morality will remain in but a fleeting illusion to be pursued, but never attained.”
This is a real quote from H.I.M, and to some Rastas, there are no lines that precede this a the real U.N speech. So why are so many of you chanting black supremacy? Rastafari is not black, it is a way of life to live clean, pure. To say one is better than another is blasphemy. Firstly, H.I.M was not Rastafari, nor was Garvey. So to claim they are prophets when they didn't claim to be such is ridiculous. Why would H.I.M or Garvey deny it? Why didnt they preach Africa and black supremacy? They preached love and equaliy for all.
Also, can you explain this quote:
"I am not God, I am a man. I worship Christ"
There's a video of him saying this, what's the explaination? Marcus Garvey was a seer, and H.I.M Haile Selassie I was the Seventh Angel and established of the Bahá'í Faith that Revalations, the Qur'an and Abdu'l Bahá talked out. Please answer and no personal attacks.
Blessings,
Lemuel
