I&I eat many raw foods, including many types of soaked beans, nuts, and grains. It is easier (just leave it all day), requires no electricity or fire, and many times Iyah know more nutritious. (I still like to cook some foods as well, but know Iyahs who do or have lived for years without any cooked foods!)
Is the Sadza powder cooked as flour, or what happens after grinding the items? Iman may be able to simply soak the powder instead!
For example, yesterday I&I prepared some lentils and bulgar (cracked wheat) by soaking the items in water with some coconut oil, onions, and garlic. If Iyah do not want the oil (it is not raw), Iman do not have to use it. Soak in a covered pot for several hours. Iyah would use about the amount of water that Iman would have used for cooking, a little less maybe.
This can be done with rice, quinoa, most beans, nuts, and other grains. Maybe not whole amaranth or millet grains because they float and won't soak. Just soak with whichever seasonings Iyah want.
I&I don't have to explain how to eat raw fruit & veggie =) yum.
