The name Ithiopia is an Incient name dated back to king Ori who was also known as king Ithiopia, long before the Greeks com dung wi yard.

The greeks never knew the meaning of the name Ithiopia and it remains a mystery up to today. They only translated it according to themselves, but really n truely, Ithiopia is an Incient word

Can you prove that Kingman - it new to I. Unless de I mean King Ezana?

Aithiope is within the Greek language

"Ethiopia
(burnt faces). The country which the Greeks and Romans described as "AEthiopia" and the Hebrews as "Cush" lay to the south of Egypt, and embraced, in its most extended sense, the modern Nubia, Sennaar, Kordofan and northern Abyssinia ,"

King Etiyopus was 5th of d Joctan dynasty around 1800 BC while King ORI was 4470 BC according what I read. Maybe the People of the time called themselves after dis King as ones do Tafari, mayb King Etiyopus was a HERU of HIM time so the Greeks coulda jes use dat word for Black people of d region dey saw!
