Some think Africa is named after Leo (1500 AD) but long before Leo in (200 "BC")there was Cornelius Scipio who defeated Hannibal and conquered a part of North Africa and name himself After the region or people he conquered.
Josephus first century AD say Africa got it name from Abraham son Apher.
There is a BiAfra in Southern Nigeria which they wanted to succeed and name their own country.
There is d Afar in East Africa
Afra-Ka Soul of Afra????
But another Innection, I was Iditating on dis earlier but was did any of InI Ibal groups have names for d whole land not jus they locale

Afrik refers to the people of the land that was involved in the Hannibal battle after which Scorpio gained the name 'Africanus'

- point being, he was namED after a part or people in Africa. Africa wasn't named after HIM. Dat term belongs to we.
