The complete Nazarite Vow?

Greeting Iya's. InI have been reading the Dead Sea Scrolls and Iman have come across this. The DSS sight that Number 6 was changed in the final verses. I am going to post the Torah scripture of Numbers along with the Changes in the DSS. The changes occur in the verses 24-26

Orthodox Torah Numbers 6

And Hashem spoke unto Moshe, saying,
2 Speak unto the Bnei Yisroel, and say unto them, When either ish or isha shall separate themselves to vow a neder of a Nazir, to separate themselves unto Hashem;
3 He shall separate himself from yayin and shekhar (fermented drink), and shall drink no chometz (vinegar) of yayin, or chometz of shekhar, neither shall he drink any grape juice, nor eat moist grapes, or dried (i.e., raisins).
4 Kol hayamim of his nazir (vow as a nazir) shall he eat nothing that is made of the gefen hayayin, from the seeds even to the grape-skins.
5 Kol hayamim of the neder of his nazir there shall no razor come upon his head; until hayamim be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto Hashem, he shall be kadosh, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
6 Kol hayamei of his separation unto Hashem he shall go not near nefesh met (dead body).
7 He shall not make himself tameh for his av, or for his em, for his ach, or for his achot, when they die; because the Nezer Elohav (Consecration of his G-d) is upon his head.
8 Kol yemei of his nazir (separation) he is kadosh unto Hashem.
9 And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath made tameh the head of his nezer (consecration); then he shall shave his head in the yom of his tohorat, on the yom hashevi’i shall he shave it.
10 And on the yom hashemi’ni he shall bring two doves, or two young pigeons, to the kohen, to the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed;
11 And the kohen shall offer the one for a chattat (sin offering), and the other for an olah (burnt offering), and make kapporah for him, because he sinned by the nefesh (dead body), and shall make kadosh his head that same day.
12 And he shall consecrate unto Hashem the yemei of his nazir, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for an asham (trespass offering); but the yamim harishonim shall not be counted, because his nazir was tameh.
13 And this is the Torat HaNazir, when the yamim of his nazir are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed;
14 And he shall offer his korban unto Hashem, one helamb of the first year tamim (without blemish) for an olah (burnt offering), and one ewe lamb of the first year temimah (without blemish) for a chattat, and one ram tamim (without blemish) for shlamim (peace offerings),
15 And a basket of matzot, cakes of fine flour mingled with shemen, and wafers of matzot meshuchim (anointed) with oil, and their minchot (grain offerings), and their nesakim (drink offerings).
16 And the kohen shall bring them before Hashem, and shall offer his chattat, and his olah (burnt offering);
17 And he shall offer the ram for a zevach shelamim (sacrifice of peace offerings) unto Hashem, with the basket of matzot; the kohen shall offer also his minchah (grain offering), and his nesekh (drink offering).
18 And the Nazir shall shave the head of his nazir at the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed, and shall take the hair of the head of his nazir, and put it in the eish (fire) which is under the zevach hashelamim (sacrifce of peace offerings).
19 And the kohen shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one challat matzah (loaf of matzah) out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazir, after the hair of his nazir (consecration) is shaven;
20 And the kohen shall wave them for a wave offering before Hashem; this is kodesh for the kohen, with the breast of the wave offering and thigh of the terumah (raisedup presentation); and after that the Nazir may drink yayin.
21 This is the Torat HaNazir who hath vowed, and of his korban unto Hashem for his nazir (separation), in addition to whatever else his hand shall afford, according to the neder (vow) which he vowed, so he must do after the torah of his Nazir.
22 And Hashem spoke unto Moshe, saying,
23 Speak unto Aharon and unto his Banim, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the Bnei Yisroel, saying unto them,
24 Y’varekhekha Adonai v’yishmerekha (Hashem bless thee, and keep thee);
25 Ya’er Adonai panav eleikha vichunekha (Hashem make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee);
26 Yissa Adonai panav eleikha v’yasem l’kha shalom (Hashem lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee shalom).
27 And they shall put My Shem upon the Bnei Yisroel, and I will bless them.

New Translation Torah

Adonai said to Moshe, 2 “Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘When either a man or a woman makes a special kind of vow, the vow of a nazir, consecrating himself to Adonai; 3 he is to abstain from wine and other intoxicating liquor, he is not to drink vinegar from either source, he is not to drink grape juice, and he is not to eat grapes or raisins. 4 As long as he remains a nazir he is to eat nothing derived from the grapevine, not even the grape-skins or the seeds.
5 “‘Throughout the period of his vow as a nazir, he is not to shave his head. Until the end of the time for which he has consecrated himself to Adonai he is to be holy: he is to let the hair on his head grow long.
6 “‘Throughout the period for which he has consecrated himself to Adonai, he is not to approach a corpse. 7 He is not to make himself unclean for his father, mother, brother or sister when they die, since his consecration to God is on his head. 8 Throughout the time of his being a nazir he is holy for Adonai.
9 “‘If someone next to him dies very suddenly, so that he defiles his consecrated head, then he is to shave his head on the day of his purification; he is to shave it on the seventh day. 10 On the eighth day he is to bring two doves or two young pigeons to the cohen at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 11 The cohen is to prepare one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering and thus make atonement for him, inasmuch as he sinned because of the dead person. That same day he is to re-consecrate his head; 12 he is to consecrate to Adonai the full period of his being a nazir by bringing a male lamb in its first year as a guilt offering. The previous days will not be counted, because his consecration became defiled.
13 “‘This is the law for the nazir when his period of consecration is over: he is to be brought to the entrance of the tent of meeting, 14 where he will present his offering to Adonai — one male lamb in its first year without defect as a burnt offering, one female lamb in its first year without defect as a sin offering, one ram without defect as peace offerings, 15 a basket of matzah, loaves made of fine flour mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers spread with olive oil, their grain offering and their drink offerings. 16 The cohen is to bring them before Adonai, offer his sin offering, his burnt offering, 17 and his ram as a sacrifice of peace offerings to Adonai, with the basket of matzah. The cohen will also offer the grain offering and drink offering that go with the peace offering. 18 The nazir will shave his consecrated head at the entrance to the tent of meeting, take the hair removed from his consecrated head and put it on the fire under the sacrifice of peace offerings. 19 When the ram has been boiled, the cohen is to take its shoulder, one loaf of matzah from the basket and one unleavened wafer, and place them in the hands of the nazir, after he has shaved his consecrated head. 20 The cohen is to wave them as a wave offering before Adonai; this is set aside for the cohen, along with the breast for waving and the raised-up thigh. Following that, the nazir may drink wine.
21 “‘This is the law for the nazir who makes a vow and for his offering to Adonai for his being a nazir — in addition to anything more for which he has sufficient means. In keeping with whatever vow he makes, he must do it according to the law for the nazir.’”
22 Adonai said to Moshe, 23 “Speak to Aharon and his sons, and tell them that this is how you are to bless the people of Isra’el: you are to say to them,
24 ‘Y’varekh’kha Adonai v’yishmerekha.
[May Adonai bless you and keep you.]
25 Ya’er Adonai panav eleikha vichunekka.
[May Adonai make his face shine on you and show you his favor.]
26 Yissa Adonai panav eleikha v’yasem l’kha shalom.
[May Adonai lift up his face toward you and give you peace.]’
27 “In this way they are to put my name on the people of Isra’el, so that I will bless them.”

This is what the DSS says the actual verses 24-26 are supposed to say

May YAHWEH keep you together and […] So the nations were lifted up in anger […] through their actions and the polluted deeds of […] so that they have neither remnant or survivor. As for their offspring, […] He planted His chosen in a land desirable above all others in […] He made him as a god over the mighty, as a compass for Pharoah; His servant Moses […] So they melted and their hearts trembled, and their insides turned to liquid. Yet He had compassion upon all His chosen ones […] When He caused His face to shine upon them for healing, they were made strong once again, and at the time of […] All who had known You melted and trembled. They staggered at the sound of your voice. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you; May he delight in the savor of your sacrifices. May He be specially present at all your holy times and festivals and bless all your seed. May He lift up His countenance toward your entire congregation. May He place a crown upon your head […] with perpetual glory. May He sanctify your descendants with glory without end. May He lift up His countenance toward […] […] May He grant you eternal peace and a kingdom of […] […] from the flesh, and with the holy angels […] May He wage war at the head of your thousands to exterminate a perverse generation […] to bring to their knees many peoples on your behalf and not […] all the wealth of the earth to turn you away from the eternal fount. Seek Him for God has laid all the foundations of […] He has established peace for you for ever and ever.

Now sense this doesn't make a whole lot of sense, seeing as a lot of the beginning is missing, this is how InI sight it could go together.

How do the I's sight this? I sight it as the Vow hasn't changes but the last few verses have changed significantly. They go into a lot deeper detail in the DSS then I have ever seen them before. I would really love to see the whole chapter but I guess that will remain a mystery. Any thoughts to add to this Iya's?

A comprehensive translation of the controversial ancient scrolls, with material never before published or translated before now, including the most recently released text

Micheal Wise, Martin Abegg Jr, Edward Cook

It has ALOT good information. It also contains an index that shows the books of the bible and which DSS text go with which books. Aswell as many other things that are too numerous to mention.

Forgot to answer the Queens other question. The original languages of the DSS are Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Nabataean. And the reason some words are missing is because it is written on almost 2000 papyrus and hemp paper that was wrapped in leather and stuck in a clay pot. Which is still pretty good Idition for being outside for that long.

Actually King there are a few "religions" around the world that sight that grapes are bad for the Irit. I will post the sources when InI get the chance. As for the sacrifices unto JAH, InI burn I sacrifice to Mt Zion. There is a few scriptures in Torah that sight JAH loves the burning sacrifice of Kaneh-Bosm more than Iny other. InI will post that aswell when Iman get chance.

No religion can tell I eating grape is bad when them still drink blood. And I dont deal with sacrifice at all ras. InI would reason that way about herbs still other rasta who plant and dont smoke herb wouldn't agree to you burning up them herbs as a sacrifice when them have 100 other use. Jah no deal in dem kinda thing to iman.

Seen Iya. InI do use herb as Ither things aswell, like meds for I Queen and I, along with clothing and shoes. Food etc. Most of the "religions" that sight the grape as bad are Buddhist, Shinto, and Tibetan (Iman forget what it called). Them are strictly eaters of plants. But like InI sighted in Ither reasoning that is the beauty of RastafarI, each I finds dem own path. So long as dem live clean and do good things that is all that matter. It doesn't matter what one eat or if dem sacrifice or whether dem say god, Jehovah, Krishna, yhwh or JAH. Live clean and do what is right and there will be room in ZION for dem.
