It is too simplistic bredda.

Man and WOMBMAN to live in Ma'at. Man WOMBMAN and child the hola trinity.

Christian doctrine is undeniably wrong here. Another example that the thing isn't written by God and infallible but written by man and therefore fulla folly

That's what i said: too simplistic. Regardless of whatever the Bible says (& it's always complex &/or contradictory), in practice most Christian women are not treated as the underdogs while men sit at the top of the heap and mistreat them. That's a cartoon caricature that does happen in some bad individual circumstances by it is not dominant. i don't see that as dominant in Islam either (at least not in the Muslim families i have spent time with in places as disparate as Morocco, Bangladesh, Jordan, Syria, the Philippines and Malaysia).

Decision-making authority and responsibilities may well (and probably are) divided between a husband & a wife as anyone who's ever tried to operate a ship with two captains understands that failure to do so is probably unworkable (e.g., Capt. 1: "hard a-starboard",Capt. 2: "hard a-port" --which way do we go?).

"According to the bible it's OK to beat your slaves as long as they get up from their assault inflicted comatose state in the next day or two...."

I have not read this from the bible, as yet. GARVEYS AFRICA kindly foward where the above context is from?

Exodus 21:20-21

20 “Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, 21 but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property.

Man, that's Exodus stuff. That's digging way back in the Bible thousands of years. i'm no Bible thumper, but the ones who i know would say that was all washed away with Jesus' blood on the Cross. i don't know a single Christian anywhere, even of the most Bible-thumping, literalist, fundamentalist, who who interpret that to be applicable any time since the resurrection of Christ
The Bible is a book of many uses and misuses, interpretation and misinterpretations.

Maybe RasTafarIWork has a different perspective to shed some more light on those verses.

These laws were applied in times when slavery was generally accepted, Israel being slaves in egypt. It would seem better if a law immediately abolishing slavery was decreed to put an end to such chastes would be better. But to dismantle such entrenched socio-cultural structures so ubruptly would not offer effective solutions. The abolishment of slavery in Ethiopia is such a case study.
Now, would it not be wise to give laws that will harmonize with the accepted socio-structures, that will serve to offer justice to a community? Eventual progress/advancment will allow for growth in the laws that gorvern them, as with the Tew Testament.
Hence archaic laws to gorvern archaic communities

This is true, but that wasn't the case until as recently as the decline of Christianity. As Christianity started to decline people paid less and less attention to what the bible said and listened to more and more platitudes and metaphors about what it all means in general. There are older less flexible versions of Christianity where women still can't be elders and deacons and ministers. And there are younger versions where they can. But the more people outside of Christianity reject it altogether, the more the children of Christians reject it to a point, and the more Christians in general reject the strictest dogma and are willing to take some artistic license.

I think that if God came to America, he would have to speak english, and if He went to China, he would speak chinese.
And if he went to a baby school, to speak as a babe.
For the children of Israel, the law given by Moses was much better than the laws that governed them in Egypt.
This no excuse, I said before, the abolishment of slavery in ethiopia is a recent example.
