GARVEYS AFRICA, why do you spend so much time and energy to fight the bible? There are so many religious books but in particular you fight against only this christian book.

As it has dangerously encaptured the psyche of African peoples like no other book. Especially those who have been trained to believe it is the unshakeable undeniable word of God; and it is a literal historical piece.

I think that it is a matter of opinion, you also could be wrong.

It is true that the Bible has been abused for propaganda and mischief, but that doesn't change its purpose, reason; from the Beginning RasTafari has ALWAYS been in accordance with the bible, so it is, and so it will remain. Unshakable.

I have studied the bible all by life and I find profound truth in it, and I know the bible and its great message cannot be accepted by all.

So try and answer. Why were the books of the Gospel of Thecla and her miracles removed from the Bible? If it were not to try and push a patriarchal system which lacks the male-female divine balance of its parent religions? Asherah would be another kind of example.

Why was so much work done around the early formation of the Bible to remove and deny all mention of Yeshu Ben Panthera? You think the 'word' would be the same if instead of mircacle working and afterlife rewards for todays suffering, the story was one of Ben Panthera as a revolutionary to the Roman and Jewish systems. Other accounts say he was bringing a message of the values he learned in the mystery systems of Kemet. You mean to tell I Christians would be Christians as they are today if this 'Christ' was predominant over the Christ of Paul?

IF the Bible has a purpose as you claim what could be the purpose of these two omissions of a revolutionary mortal Christ? And of equal female divinity?

Its undeniable to argue that the Bible as it stands has been crafted and moulded into a way to fit ONE paradigm inparticular. You can argue this was the intention of Bible-God or was it the intention of man?

Rastafari did not begin with the Bible.
The Bible was all the black people in Jamaica had at that time to validate any sort of history pre slavery.
Now we are more familiar with that history why is it some Rasta people refuse to move past any other form of validation? Why does this book written and orchestrated and revised by man have so many of unno stuck? (not speaking to the I directly)

Rastafari, as PanAfricanists in ideology and culture can say the Bible is not our culture. And if you believe it is, you cannot say it begins and ends with the bible even remotely. This is where the problem lay
