Mankind's Duty

If we look around creation we see that all the organisms of the world are doing their duty at all times. Jah has assigned each species a specific duty in the world, and for the most part they do it. The bees help the plants pollinate. The trees bring forth fruits. The earthworm airates the soil; and so on. But man seems to be the only species in creation that doesn't fulfill the duty Jah appointed them. Selassie I said: "Men were supposed to be the equals of the living angels who unceasingly sang praises before the Eternal God". Few men and women on Earth actually execute this task though. Jah gave IandI free will, so that we may choose whether we live right or not. We must use our freewill to choose right by unceasingly singing praises before Jah as His Majesty said. Not just through our words, but also through our actions. We must praise Jah by loving and taking care of all of his creation and by living right. If this is done we will have fulfilled our God-assigned duty. - Jah-Spear
