Ises!
InI live in the Netherlands. A dutch zoo does have a promotional action right now: if you dress like a rastafari you may win free entrance.
They give some (wrong) information on rastafari on their website and sell veggie snacks the two weeks the action is running.
What do you think about commercialisation of rastafari and more important making fun (carnaval) of it and mocking rastafari by these kind of actions? Aren't they making fun of Ras Tafari? Of the Most High? What about respect? Should they do this for muslims, christians, etc, too?
InI felt offended by this action, because they're making fun of rastafari, while our elders did have such a struggle (remember Coral gardens), while lots of us still have serious struggles with their livity!
Curious about your views!
Rastafari love!
