give thanks for real sistren , that was nice.

I am loving that salah edin beat. Those drums would crush anything in their path lol, i know say nuff of the best MCs would love to kill that beat.
Lyrically, i got to give it to Krukid, youth is quite nice,
though i do wish i knew Swahili

If you speak to your brethren in the cape, tell them they got a new fan lol, i will keep my eyes, or should i say ears, on them

Bless the youths

I just found a site with the music of a soldier, KingPinn. Even though he never dreaded, he still knew the truth. I've so many memories of spliffing n reasoning heavy this brother, its hard not to listen to without getting emotional. Long Live King.

Ises My Lord and Empress

Ya man Africa needs conscious HipHop!
I remember about sitting in Shashe in a Sistren's restaurant and suddenly sein on the wall an article about Ithiopian Rastafari Youths who are well into hiphop bizness. And their words were straight and serious.
Especially Ithiopia needs hiphop.... and not those many (jamaican shashamane) bands who play Bob Marley over and over again "cah them Habesha them 30 years back them fools, caaaaant give them something new them nah even get the old ones!". of course.

Yes I, I'll keep an ear out for JahBird's sounds - blessed! At the next Uni of Dub session I'll be listening out or if it comes I way in the music stores. And Bro Anbesa thanks for the Burntface link, hadn't heard of him. Interesting fusion of sounds, I like the dog chains of HIS Majesty at the end. And I like You Already Know the Deal, nice beats and conscious vibes. There are quite a few Ethiopian artists on that link as well, give thanks
