on the elder's cd...mama bubbles is singing that vibe.
it is easily overstandable...if you listen carefully now you will hear.

this sis chant this wordsound in a binghi and at the gates, but it is a bit hard to EXACTLY give the words.
i will attempt it.

basically it is the same words all the way thru.
ras pidow is chanting and mama bubbles is the main one in the background with a bit of help from the others.

very likely we have not the same version of "Jah is my Shepherd", because, as far as I am able to understand, the words are not the same. I don't know what song you have got and what is mine.

those were most of the words that ras pidow chants (plus the words of the background singing....lol) on the rastafar I elders CD.....perhaps this sis is mistaken in what the I is looking for...just put the words on paper and listen to the CD...the I will overs then.....it is very difficult to put caribbean dialect on paper...plus..it is not a chant that a one sings so to speak.....in this particular vibe....ones keep the background covered and the idren leading the chants take turns chanting the wordsound.....it is the only JAH is I Shepherd vibe on the elder's cd....the third vibe on the cd if this sis is not mistaken....
now...muta and luciano or buju i think do psalms 23...as a matter of fact it could be poppi chanting with muta......he made several other cd's aside from the elders cd...modern antique is one that poppi made...mother bubbles as well has recorded several cd's aside from the elders vibe.....much raspect seen.
but this is the only binghi vibe that this sis knows is chanted.....if there is another, i am not familiar with it, and i know most of the chants by heart.....
let InI know if there is another one seen....

yes i idren, i think you will find the Sistren is correct, although i myslef am not so sure of some of the lines
