" As for the Empress, i also regarded Bob as God. I am not afraid to tell you. This is Folly. A million wrong could never be a right. A folly. God only can save you and Bob is not God, bcos God cannot die."
I said Bob was my Jesus not my God. No one man can be my God, a god, but not the Most High God. My God is the collective conscious, the One from which all things come and must eventually go back to. I am not seeking salvation. I think it is folly to seek salvation. Every prophet ever has said that you can only save yourself. I don't fall into the trap of needing one savior, one prophet, one god. I believe each person saves or dooms themselves and my belief does not require acceptance by others. I am a leader by example. I seek the big picture, I always ask why.
When I say Bob is my Jesus, I mean that if I were to pick one person in history to worship as a living god, it would be Bob. I whorship Bob on a daily basis, everytime I sing his tunes or play his music or follow in his example.
Halie Selassie I is my king, Mother Teresa is my saint and Bob Marley is my Jesus.
I am not a religious person, but I am more spiritual than the average person. My trod is purely personal, I never try to save anyone I wouldn't want to see on the other side. I am about peace, not the kind that is an end to war, but the kind that keeps others out of my business and inside their own. I am about love, not the kind that hugs everybody but the kind that refuses to judge anyone for any reason. I am about freedom, not the kind that removes shackles but the kind that allows each person to achieve their own purpose in life.
I am not a Rasta because I read a book or listened to a song, I am a Rasta because my natural state of being fits into the outline of what is Rasta. I have been this way always. But I am also, in this way a Buddist, a Christian, a Hebrew, a Muslim, a 5%er, a Nuwabian, a Black Panther, a Revolutionary, a Black Nerd, a superhero, a Gnostic, an Egyptologist, a historian, a griot, a poet, a thesbian, a philosopher, a dancer, a chef, a scientist, a teacher, a student, a researcher, a proletarian, a socialist, a communist, a liberal, an environmentalist, a conservastionist, an interior designer, an organizer, an astrologer, a clairvoyant, a Shaman, a healer, a Medicine Woman, a Black American, a Native American, Afro-Carribean, African, Black Irish, and a super star. I am many things and nothing all at once, I do not subscribe to any ways of thinking, I subscribe only to the truth.
It is folly to think any one living being could ever be the Most High God, every prophet ever has said so, but yet and still humans continue to choose aman to worship as God, against his will even. How can you expect to save anybody if you can't even listen to the message that has been given to you over and over again. I am of the belief that if a prophet tells the truth than it is folly to ignore some things and defend others, all or nothing. Jesus said I am doing my father's work, Halie Selassie I said I am not Jesus, but yet Rastas argue over who is God and who is not. As though it matters. What are you expecting? Do you think that you will be quized on it when judgment comes? "What have you done, who have you helped, what is God's name?" Meanwhile you debate and curse each other over a distraction. What good is knowing who God was if you are not following the message given to you by Him? If every prophet, saint, messiah and angel says the same thing, what difference does it make who was who? Especially if that hasn't been a part of the message.
Wake up and live now, wake up and live, all together now.
