ive just put some of my work online
here is my first attempt at making a Reggae soundtrack
its called ROAM!!
created using synapse orion (couldnt afford to buy Reason)
it came out completely wrong and doesnt sound like reggae at all but does and is very much African....the planes of Africa subtly coursing through babylon??
it encompases the spirit of the elephant and the whale/dolphin
and their underlying influence on society soothing the mind from stresses and annoyance and wrong doing..in the face of adversity..
the elephant dont care he just keeps on roaming through tramplind and breaking through anything in its way....
here it is and let me know if you want to mix in with it and i will send the Hi rez to you on CD...
I would love to hear the track with a reggae vibe mixed in and maybe some vocals if anyone is inspired...maybe there are some lions around as the elephant roams through babylon

http://www.artcaf.freeserve.co.uk/glistening.mp3
and my third attempt
this is an uptempo one tribal dancing around the fire etc
designed to mix in with the old pig-bag tune
http://www.artcaf.freeserve.co.uk/pigbagmix.mp3
and another uptempo tune (my very first one ever!!)
which can sound really good mixed back2back
http://www.rbolaski.wanadoo.co.uk/tribalhousemix.htm
(but with this one i have used mod samples from the dem o scene mods i have collected and tracked)
feel free to take samples or mix
it is pure synth set-up by me using £150 worth of licenced software by syn ap se :) so dont worry no problem
pure

hi john
save them as mp3 files (easy way to put them onto cd then rip them from the CD in windows media player into mp3 format)
or save them onto your computer as a wav using the line in/windows sound recorder and then convert them to mp3
then upload the files to free webspace from wanadoo or other service provider webspace (free space is limited) see info at wanadoo or other isp about howto do this..
usually there is an upload button to upload the mp3 files and this is easier than having to 'ftp' the files with eg ftp explorer..
also another and probably easier way to share the mp3 files is to use filesharers such as yousendit.com or other (search for free file sharers at google)
hope this elps

ps...cont...
to embed the song into a webpage so it starts playing without a player when the webpage opens
simply import the wav or mp3 file into flash...then save as a .swf from flash then import the .swf into the webpage
if u cant get flash then there are wav2swf converters around such as 'soundnails'
really interested to see if anyone does this with ragga mufflin vocals etc for live online mixing with tribal house etc above
thanks john for the compliment about the vibe i hope my next girlfriend likes it too!!! maybe i will work on the bass more like nyabinghi... i would like to hear niabinghi drum ... my bass is ok but its too high.. not quite niabinghi doesnt quite reach the heart aswell??? however thanks for the compliment which is always nice to hear
