Shiloh is interpreted in many ways but the literal translation is quiet, or rest.

----------------------------------------
shiloh
shi"loh (shī"lō), n. [heb. shīlōh, literally, quiet, rest, fr. shālāh to rest.] (script.) a word used by jacob on his deathbed, and interpreted variously, as "the messiah," or as the city "shiloh," or as "rest."
shiloh
n : the second great battle of the american civil war (1862); the battle ended with the withdrawal of confederate troops but is was not a union victory [syn: shiloh, battle of shiloh , battle of pittsburgh landing]

shiloh
generally understood as denoting the messiah, "the peaceful one," as the word signifies (gen. 49:10). the vulgate version translates the word, "he who is to be sent," in allusion to the messiah; the revised version, margin, "till he come to shiloh;" and the lxx., "until that which is his shall come to shiloh." it is most simple and natural to render the expression, as in the authorized version, "till shiloh come," interpreting it as a proper name (comp. isa. 9:6). shiloh, a place of rest, a city of ephraim, "on the north side of bethel," from which it is distant 10 miles (judg. 21:19); the modern seilun (the arabic for shiloh), a "mass of shapeless ruins." here the tabernacle was set up after the conquest (josh. 18:1-10), where it remained during all the period of the judges till the ark fell into the hands of the philistines. "no spot in central palestine could be more secluded than this early sanctuary, nothing more featureless than the landscape around; so featureless, indeed, the landscape and so secluded the spot that from the time of st. jerome till its re-discovery by dr. robinson in 1838 the very site was forgotten and unknown." it is referred to by jeremiah (7:12, 14; 26:4-9) five hundred years after its destruction.

Here is another way that Shiloh could be interpreted

----------------------------------------
Jeremiah 26
[1] In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying,
[2] Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
[3] If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.
[4] And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,
[5] To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;
[6] Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
[7] So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
[8] Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
[9] Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
----------------------------------------

Genesis 49
[10] The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Genesis 49:10 is a prophesy of the future, that references the future. It is a serious prophesy, it references what happened in Shiloh, an event that happened many years after this prophesy was written.

Jeremiah warned Israel that the same judgement that had happened in Shiloh would happen to them again if they didn't repent. This is also happening in the present time when Shiloh has come again, as spoken by the prophets Jeremiah and Daniel.

The sceptre represents the rule of the kingdom of Judah and the ruler of the kingdom of Judah, all the Kings from Judah's line held a sceptre, the physical sceptre changed several times throughout history, but a sceptre was always there for the King. From times of old until recent times, the sceptre never departed from Judah.

It is in these times that the sceptre and lawgiver has departed from Judah, when Haile Selassie I left Ethiopia. No King of Judah has come after Selassie I left.

When it says "and unto him shall the gathering of the people be." it is speaking of the people gathering to Judah. In these times, Haile Selassie I is the conquoring Lion of Judah, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, unto whom Jah people gather.

As I have said, Shiloh is the situation of the present times. Jeremiah warned Israel in times of old what would happen to them if they didn't hearken. This is the same judgement that has come to the world in these times, it is the evil that we have seen grow in the world after Selassie I left the throne of Ethiopia, when the sceptre departed from Judah. It is the rule of Babylon, that is bringing about the abomination of desolation, as spoken by Daniel the prophet.

Matthew 24
[15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Mark 13
[14] But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

The abomination of desolation (transgression of desolation) that Daniel speaks about is concerning the sanctuary, temple and host of Jah, which is the people. The people's spirit will be trodden under the foot of wickedness, so that the hearts of man will turn aside from Jah. When I and I look around we can already see the abomination of desolation within many that are in the world, the emptiness and lack of Jah Spirit within them. As the abomination of desolation grows, we will see more desolation within more people. They will be so far from Jah, that the wickedness will be radiating from them.

So as these times get worse, Jah people cannot become weary and fall from I and I path. More hard times are coming, that have not been seen before, but when I and I get through these times, without moving away from Jah, I and I will come to Iternal life, with Jah as the only God and King that will be regarded.

Dan.8
[1] In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
[2] And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
[3] Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
[4] I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
[5] And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
[6] And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had there seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
[7] And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
[8] Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
[9] And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
[10] And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
[11] Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
[12] And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
[13] Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
[14] And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
[15] And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
[16] And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
[17] So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
[18] Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
[19] And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
[20] The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.
[21] And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
[22] Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
[23] And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
[24] And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
[25] And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
[26] And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
[27] And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
------------------------------------------------

The Babylonian kingdom of the end days started with the empire ways of Greece and the concept spread into different Kingdoms afterwards like Rome, England, Spain and Russia. The little horn that came out of the horn of England is the United States, the Babylon of today, in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, the kingdom with fierce countenance, who understands dark sentences and causes craft to prosper in his hand through his policies, who by "peace" has destroyed many and will also destroy many more, who is casting truth down to the ground and bringing about the abomination of desolation by poisoning the people of the world with wickedness.

Stand guard Jah people, refuse the abomination of desolation.
