I do not really know what you meant with the above quote, but it reminds me a lot of Buddhist compassion...Bush and his family and inner circile of friends are swimming in their own suffering as a sentinent beings....it's a hard idea to grasp, but I have been trying to look at people, even those I do not like the most, with compassion and love.
