Mel, either you are confused or you think we are. Either way, its hard not to take offense. Mel: In March 2020 the government said they will only keep us in quarantine for two weeks. No, you are confused. You don't understand quarantine... like at all. If you have a government that can force people to quarantine for 2 weeks then 2 weeks would be all that was necessary to contain the virus because the people who caught it would likely know it by the end of the 2 weeks and could stay in quarantine for an additional 2 weeks in order to prevent their own spread of the virus. This was impossible to do in the US because, for some reason, we had a bunch of idiots claiming conspiracy theories and they were refusing to quarantine themselves and they didn't believe the virus existed or that it was dangerous and they went around catching and spreading it. If millions of people followed the safety guidelines it wouldn't matter if thousands of people were spreading the virus because they were ignoring that same information. Basically... you can blame whoever you want but it's YOUR FAULT that businesses had to be shut down for longer periods and why many even went out of business. Congress could have helped them cover a month long loss of revenue. But no one could compensate them for months of idiotic Trump supporters running around spreading the virus. Even if you and your community were wearing masks the whole time while you told black people not to, black people catching the virus would also lead to more whites catching it. We don't exist in isolated communities anymore. We're going to catch it from each other. So trying to infect more black people is stupid.
