Yes they are very strong power plants and deserve to be treated with respect and caution. However, they do offer very much to be gained. But they take dearly from those who do not respect them. Northern europeans, asians and central americans have used them traditionally for a very long time. Many gifts they can bring. In Bali, all young people are expected to take the magic mushroom at least once, usually just before they marry. They are expected to ideate on their prospective spouse and potential suitability together. Some relationships finish if the mushroom meditation reveals potential disharmony.
Our university to doing studies using mushrooms on volunteers in controlled laboratory setting.

Actually many traditional asian opium smokers are very long lived, possibly more long lived than many vegan jamaican mountain rastas. They practise daoist lifestyle principles, very similar to nazarite way. In thailand I met many old mountain men in good shape, who regularly use opium.
Opium smoke is like perfumed warm air, and carries very little tar or particulates, compared to ganja smoke. And just like the body is filled with cannabinoid receptors, the body has many opioid receptors too.
I think opium and cannabis are both healthy in correct moderate use, especially if not smoked. But like all these things they should only be sacraments to bring one closer to Jah.
“The devil is the source of every lie and deception and cunning and evil. This is why all thoughts aimed against Christians are in essence a lie and deception. He promises to the young every kind of prosperity through fanciful thoughts and beguiles them through illusory dreams with riches, pleasure, delights, eternal life, etc. (for this is the devil’s plan: to keep man from remembering death, since this ruins his plans ), until he trusts him as his best and most intimate friend. Then, once he entwines him in his webs as a spider its prey, with great ease he sucks up all his spiritual substance and renders him dead in relation to God."
