BTW, I find no "comedic irony" at all in the way Bob Marley lived his life or in his death. He deserves better than to be made an object of "comedic irony" in death.

How can we even know the real cause behind Bob's passing? I've heard many rumours that Robert Nesta Marley was murdered. The man was in almost perfect physical shape and within a year passing away from melanoma.... going to see a quack ex-Nazi doctor in Germany.... leaves the door open to speculate about assassination.

I find articles and research to show the type of cancer Bob Marley died from specifically can be aggrevated by the smoke he promoted.

I find this highly ironic.

And look at I responses..."racist" "he didn't die from cancer" and then theres Nesta who had his feeling hurt maybe after being categorically wrong about the Type of Cancer Marley had and the relevance of UV light... to his errors on the use of the words carcinogen cancer and malignancy in relation again to Marleys affliction.
At which point he went on to tell the medic about how to interpret medicine.

So it is not an uncommon time frame for AGRESSIVE forms of malignant melanoma. One thing that can make melanomas more aggressive and MALIGNANT is an increase in 'tumor necrosis factor alpha' which has recently been found to significantly be increased by heavy smokers (cigarettes and ganja smokers). This was the only point I was trying to make
