It's odd that in that whole rant you never bothered to express any sympathy for the victims of America's wars, Hemphill. No mention of it, no endorsement of reparations for those wronged by unlawful wars of choice (i.e., violations of the force & threats of force clauses of the UN Charter that Haile Selassie was so adamant must be obeyed for the world to achieve His Vision of lasting peace). You sort of illustrate my point for me.

(4) All Members shall refrain in their international relations from THE THREAT OR USE OF FORCE against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.

So every time the US, with its gigantic military death machine, gets up on the floor of the UN and threatens to attack and/or invade a North Korea, Venezuela, Iran or whomever, it's a blatant violation of Article 2(4) of the UN Charter.

Haile Selassie I said: "The Charter of the United Nations expresses the noblest aspirations of man: abjuration of force in the settlement of disputes between states; the assurance of human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion; the safeguarding of international peace and security."

When the US threatens and/or uses military force against an inevitably smaller and relatively defenseless nation, it is violating the very international law that it helped to craft and that it encouraged the other nations of the world to ratify themselves. This is criminal behavior and if that fact appears to be "anti-American" to you then so be it; the UN Charter was designed to protect ALL NATIONS, including the US, from bullying by warmongers and it does protect them if nations adhere to the commitments that they made when they joined the UN and ratified its Charter. His Majesty recognized the power of the Charter and was a strong proponent of compliance with it.

To state that a nation with a gigantic military death machine running around the globe threatening other nations and/or blowing them to kingdom come with that machine fits the very definition of Babylon seems to state the obvious (but I'll reiterate it for your benefit, Hemphill, as you seem to be experiencing a lot of confusion as to what the Babylon System is). Imagine that you live in Caracas or Tehran or Pyongyang and you hear these demonic monsters from the US threatening to rain hellfire down upon you and your family -- it's terrifying because you've seem them do it to millions of other innocent people without any compunction at all -- and there's nothing you can do about it save flee if that's a option for you. This is what the Beast of Babylon is all about.

You cannot dictate what I say or dont say. You are not nearly clever enough to trap me into your sanctimonious BS.. You cannot guilt trip me into saying what you want me to. I do NOT support reparations as you have presented it. I do NOT have sympathy for ISIS and other demonic terrorist cells. And besides, your 'argument' is not factual.

The USA does not have a Gigantic military.
Around 1 million service men and women.. Its actually quite small when compared to China's military.. Ours is just the best trained.. And no, you are wrong about it being a death machine.. The Marines are the first to respond to any crisis and render humanitarian relief often. See, its this constant straw man building with you. You have no idea what the reality of the military is, you just want to demonize it and anything American. I support our military members.

I don't know what Marines you hang around with but the ones I bunked with for a month down at MCB Camp Pendleton did not regard themselves as some kind of namby-pamby "humanitarian relief renderers"; they regarded themselves as professional KILLERS and they were damn PROUD of it. As the Colonel commanding the artillery range at CAMPEN informed me one day: "We're here to train young men to fight and kill. Period." That's a direct quote, verbatim.
My son-in-law's Special Forces unit displays a death's head symbol -- being efficient dispensers of DEATH is their calling and they are PROUD to regard themselves as being the best at it.

So, yes, "death machine" is a perfectly apropos moniker.

‘One of them, is that we can increase the taxes that people are paying who are the extremely wealthy in our communities. So, 70 percent, 80 percent, we’ve had it as high as 90 percent. So, that’s a place we can start.’

Hemphill - I notice that you're conspicuously SILENT on the appointment of Elliot Abrams as Trump's special envoy to Venezuela. I guess that's because it's hard to square the behavior of appointing known war criminals to high government diplomatic positions with "Making America Great" (i.e., it's more like making America a Greater THREAT to human rights everywhere than it already is).

Makes me wonder if she got to witness firsthand some of that nifty "humanitarian relief" (that you speak of) rendered by the U.S. military death machine there for Somalia as unarmed Somalians were gunned down in the streets by U.S. "servicemen". BTW, During the administration of President Dwight D.
