U.S. creates 263,000 jobs in April, unemployment falls to 3.6% -- 49 year low!!

The economy generated a stronger than expected 263,000 new jobs in April, helping to drive down the unemployment rate to a 49-year low of 3.6%. The increase in new jobs easily topped the 217,000 MarketWatch forecast. The jobless rate slid from 3.8% in March to hit the lowest level since December 1969. The average wage paid to American workers rose 6 cents, or 0.2%, to $27.77 an hour. The 12-month rate of hourly wage gains was unchanged at 3.2%. Hours worked each week fell 0.1 hour in April to 34.4. The government revised the increase in new jobs in March to 189,000 from a preliminary 196,000. February's gain was raised to 56,000 from 33,000.

Oh but they said those jobs weren't coming back. They said Trump would destroy the economy..

Hahaha

Go TRUMP
MAGA

Give me a credit card. Let me run up a $1 trillion+ deficit annually on it that I don't have to worry about paying back. I'll show you prosperity like you can't imagine. My numbers will make this administration's numbers look pathetic.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 was the greatest transfer of wealth from ordinary people to the wealthy in the history of the world. Our great grandchildren would still be paying off the debt incurred if there were any America left then to pay it by then.

The INTEREST ON THE U.S. FEDERAL DEBT is projected in the federal budget for fiscal year 2020 to be $479 billion; that's nearly a half TRILLION dollars of U.S. tax revenue being paid just to service the debt. Based upon the trajectory that the current president has put the national budget on, that figure will rise to nearly ONE TRILLION DOLLARS IN ANNUAL DEBT PAYMENTS in the next ten years.

And we have you, Hemphill, extolling the virtues of this president who has filed for bankruptcy repeatedly in his private pursuits and is exhibiting the same fiscal incompetence in his oversight of the federal budget.

It doesn't take a genius to run up a incredibly huge credit card tab to throw a fabulous party so that enough people like him to get re-elected -- just a selfish, narcissistic bastard with a complete disregard for the ultimate consequences. Does this egomaniac who fancies himself some kind of gangster mob boss accomplish this alone? No. He's got a cadre of like-minded criminals helping him run his criminal enterprise, and they all deserve to be held responsible also (although history tell us they won't be held responsible by the laws of man).

Nobody 'gets away' with anything. JAH sees everything.

Economic realities that America's 4-year-old playing in the White House sandbox does not have the mental capacity to comprehend, and wouldn't care even if he could.

Even Trump's cheerleading teams over at Fox News point out the obvious.

As tens of millions of Americans struggle in poverty, the flamboyant parties of the uber-rich are going to come to an end sooner than they know. Babylon is going down.

Unfortunately, I don't see this Babylon going down anytime soon because even though it is an empire in denial it is that denial that makes it so effective.

The US makes changes where earlier types of governments would have suffered rebellions or coups. It keeps working because the people believe they have a voice.

As far as Trump and his fans, they are mostly regular folk with regular jobs that are afraid to lose them and who don't really understand economics to a large degree. They don't feel any job security and blame the "others" for "taking" "their" jobs.

Reality check... it wasn't your job. Companies exist to make money and if plantations were willing to fight to benefit from slave labor then what the hell would make you think your own people wouldn't do the same with cheap labor? It increases their profit margin; pure and simple. But the same people that sell out "their" jobs to cheap labor are the same ones who want them to blame black and brown people and the same people who give themselves tax cuts while claiming that they're bringing jobs back as if someone else was making them take jobs away. Globalization isn't a law but rather an objective of corporations seeking greater profit.
