Not seen it and probably wont either. Although I have seen the original.

I would encourage the youth to watch, and InI who are not so famililar

Its seems bout all the ones who tell I they been watching it are ones not too much familiar with the history of InI so maybe its a good thing for them.

Hopefully it sparks supm positive in them!

Bless Up

Didn't see it either. Don't particularly care to.

I'd prefer watching Hidden Colors. Or Sankofa. These as what di youth need to be learning from.

Wow! I'm surprised to hear this!

I've seen the first one in its entirety, and only parts of the second one, and I loved it!

What or where did di I sight misinformation?

Seen them all but i agree with the I VDR. Cant remember enough specifics to tell you exactly which points.

Among several circles its accepted that while the info here may not all accurate, it is still a good starting point for the youth and ones unfamiliar. Roots and hidden colours a good start lol

Roots reflects an aspect of the Holocaust against Afrikan people, yes. And it demonstrates the story of many Afrikans in ameriKKKa, yes.

I suppose part of the frustration and controversies regarding this remake is that, as di I dem know well, afrikan history begins long before slavery. Lets make some movies about that!!

Oh wait...they did release "The Gods of Egypt" recently... 😠;;😠;;😠;;

Need I say more?
