ASAR, 6. ASET, 7. SET and 8. NEBT HET all which was produced by ATUM (Atom, Adam or Adam Kadmon) who emerged from NUN or NU as in NU-AKH or NO-AH or Life as it emerges from “Triple State of Blackness” or “Triple Stage of Darkness.” Therefore, Noah represents the “Primordial Waters of Life.” In other words all Physical Life emerged from the unseen-invisible-spiritual Atom (Heavenly Man [Man means 'Mind'], thus Higher Mind) to a seen-visible-matter or material state (Fallen Man, thus Lower Mind).

Greetings Idren, from my overstanding of this passage Noah cursed Canaan for humiliation, instead of helping his father he watched him lay naked, then went to go tell his brothers instead of helping him himself. Of course there's a lot of different opinions on this, some believe that he castrated Noah or something else that the Bible didn't mention. Genesis 9:20-25 "Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness. When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, he said, ‘Cursed be Canaan! A servant of servants will he be to his brothers.’"

Do we mean naked? English naked? What was the Hebrew word used? Naked has been used with different root words in the bible to mean naked (literal) or even rape/intercourse. It has also been used to mean shame..... Ie to uncover nakedness to uncover a hidden truth. Or are we dealing with the English and the face value only? As usually with the bible, take your pick out of a number of possibilities to formulate the response which you desire and have already preconceived. Give thankhs Goddess for the esoteric. One more explanation could be...... To give any old reason to curse the complete lineage of the African people's, which some believe to be represented by Canaan (and we know what the Israelites later did to them!). A RASTA PERSPECTIVE: To perpetuate the racist Hebrew myth of the Ham, Shem, and Japheth stated that “Ham is more Physical. Shem is more Spiritual, & Japheth is more Intellect”. Ham being ‘black’, Shem being ‘brown’ and Japheth being ‘white’ Am InI to assume since InI am allegedly a descendant of Ham, that InI am intellectually inferior to the white man (Japheth) or that InI and InI's Black Rastafarian family am spiritually inferior to the brown man. Are we also to assume that because of that story our and all InI's black brothers and sisters are cursed because of the biblical passage that states ‘Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem: and Canaan shall be his servant.’ Genesis 9, 25-27 How can black people respect themselves and others while still spewing this kind of self-demeaning garbage? How can others RASPECT us when/if we hold such self demeaning myths aloft as truth?? Can the Rastafarian goals of UPLIFTMENT, RE-EDUCATION, TRUTH, JUCTICE AND REPATRIATION be attained by the perpetuation of such self-destructive myths? What some fail to realize is that Afrikan people have been existing in their high culture thousands of years before the alleged existence and first mention of Adam, Eve, Noah, Shem, Ham etc. For too long our people have been enslaved by religion, by self demeaning dogmas, by the Bible, by leaders (misleaders), not realizing that these things are all limited naturally in how they can help one become one with Jah/become anointed. The kingdom of the Divine is within InI and all truth is therefore within InIi. In breaking the shackles of ignorance and seeking the Almighty (truth), InI abandon and reject all racist/sexist myths that seek to hold InI people in bondage.
