The letter J didnt exist untill about the 14 century. It was taken from roman i.

Some Rasta say jes-us(jesos) and see it different from jesus(jeezes).

I think yashua is the closest to the original name. The J instead of Y pronunciation goes for all other biblical characters and places too.Jehoshua,John,Jared,Judah etc...

Even Y'shua, Iyesus, etc...all come from IAO from the Nile Civilizations.

Many nations in Europe still use the letter J for a Y sound, and those nations pronounce it Yesus, which is a Greek version of the name Yeshua.

The Greeks and Romans pronounced his name as Yesus. The pronunciation Jesus is an English thing.

Since the I brought up Zeus,
What I find is that in Greek it pronounced "ZEVFS" or "TDIAS" (thats how it sounds to me, they used ZEVS an DIAS)

what I find interesting is that in Spanish and French God has a variant of TDIAS, actually Spanish uses DIAS and French DIEU not so sure of the sound, RastaGoddess can varify for I

While the Greek uses Theos for God, tho the spelling may be different I think the word sound says it all,

Theos, Dias (Zeus), Dias (spanish) and Dieu is one and the same

Could it be Zeus-Sus= the Pig God?
