RG and Jah Child,, what a truth to de I dem last statements give thanks for clarifying what a virgin is biblically. We dont have to beat around any bush, people so hypocritical. Make dem believe God and then man are the head of the house, and that God can breed woman without sex. Should these 'believers' ever wake up to find their wives pregnant to another, how many a dem would accept God as the daddy and dem nah gi bun? Careful John

well iyah...debates can be reasoning with reasonable people, otherwise it just turns to a bunch of smoke and mirrors and reverses into eloquent nonsense....a conversation like this one....i wouldnt add anything to the "reasoning" because it seems like de i have it well in control, in how the i dispenses the info....but it will take a while for most to come to the realization that the ting called Israel never actually existed, i suppose that depends on the level of education that one has at the time of exposure to the questioning of the bible documents.....

That make sense. Some people dont like debates because i suppose when it gets heated it can seem like argument or some people just dont like contention. I asked, because I wouldnt expect either from mr 'agitator' seen? Lol. It is true this reasoning full up of smoke and mirror, and often not so eloquent!

well....most times it actually turns into an argument of sorts...especially when ah one gets their pre supposed ideas burnt....for most ones that misinterpret the supposedly truthful info.

in finding out that there is someone out there who dont agree with that idea that they have, they tend to get a bit defensive, protective even...facing reality can be defeating for some....

Very true. There must be reason (logic) in ur reasoning. And as granny used to say unuh must Listen! This defensive style can be expected a little given the topic of things discussed can be dealing with some deep rooted things.

As a side note im sure you know culturally, some Africans, especially within the carribean, tend to appear more emotionally charged / animated, or involved within reasonings, which can be confusing when witnessed by others; as if a literal fighting when we know thats not the case - the same could be said about a game of domino :)

yes Carribbean folks do tend to "get into" our reasoning which can be viewed by someone from "outside" as arguing....we like to add a little exaggeration to our points .....it gives the point life....Caribbean folks hve never been known to "go quietly" many of our greatest diasporian leaders have come out of the Caribbean....
