Confessions of a fake Rasta

Give thanks Ras Nate, well said. Ones who are calling Iself RasTafarI and not living right out of ignorance rather than out of malevolence, I see that as a likely stage in each personal trod, at one point or another. From this "confession" it sounds like the intent was malicious to begin with, or does Iman see this as ignorance as well?
Give thanks for the mercy of JAH. More love allways.

Well,I don't see malevolence as something separate from ignorance. One cannot be malicious if he is not ignorant.Becoz if one is fully aware and not ignorant he is aware of his own malice too and removes it from there...

But I Iverstand what the I is saying.
There is a great difference between doing evil purposely and out of ignorance indeed.
And it's clear in this letter that the man was intentionally doing these wicked things. He knew exactly what he was doing. So it cannot in any way be justified as 'ignorance'.
Although there is no doubt ignorance in it,but of a different kind.

Blessed Love

Bitwoded blessings.

Ras Ark I,

The I was not misinterpreting Iman words in fact when I look at the sentence Iman typed and posted, the I could not misinterpret I.

I thought the e-mail was about the Iself, Iman guess that was so because I indeed missed the I own words in the beginning of the I post and topic.

Correction: "Ras Nathaniel" was not Ark I formerly.

Absolutely true point here Iyah, malevolence is a product of extreme ignorance. But yes, I see the distinction still.

I want to take this Iversation in a positive direction, because reading this letter is sad/worrisome. I do not want to have suspicion against I Idren if Iman comes to I very adamantly trying to stir up the people and inspire/organize action within the Immunity, but at the same time the kind of thing this letter describes surely happens more than just in this instance. If not in the Rastafari movement itself, absolutely in the world of people out there with agendas (some agendas can be positive also), and it may be hard to tell between those who really want global change and need partnership to create it, and those with selfish ambitions.
How do the I's differentiate between Iman with a real plan to uplift the Idren and a snake oil salesman?
Has anyOne encountered a situation like this in which I&I had to use deep discernment skills? Which lessons can I&I share?
I have never ever had an Idren I just met ask I for anything, other than occasional Idren asking to share some herb. If I see the Idren in need, I try to help in any way I can, and I definitely feel this is mutual. And I&I may be asked or ask for help here or there, if I&I already know the person, which is all good because that is what families are for. But is it common for Iman to meet a new Idren and start asking for donations toward a cause or for investment money or anything? I have simply never seen this. Not that there would be anything wrong with it if the person was honest about the cause, but I just have never seen it happen.
It seems that this could be a GOOD thing, though, the I's trying to start projects and get involvement from the Idren. So how can I&I see the difference and make sure to also be an obviously honest Idren for others to trust with these important matters?

No worry bout dat too much

We know who our leaders our. Judge a man by his works and not only the doctrine he coming with. Jah see and know. All weakheart shall perish, naturally.

So him make money off Rasta. A fire. But them been doing it in their thousands :/ , some in sheep clothing and some coming as wolf; dem a leech and commercialise rasta from 19howlong. And the ones who originated the thing never get any form of Commerce from Rasta. Kmt It's a holistic problem in this thing.

From you see a carbon than you shall know one different from the original man. nobody can come change rasta original philosophy from His Majesty, Garvey and Howell roots.

Nathaniel could never higher than Haile Selassie him a fool himself

I agree with Iya GARVEYS AFRICA

The best way to discern is to look at how one is living. One's livity speaks for man.
Weakheart deceivers usually say "do as I say,not as I do".

Although sometimes it can be difficult to discern them.Becoz of their deceiving skills. But still, they can never have Rasta mystical Irits wich is the main sign that they are not Rasta.

Seen Kings. Bless up Itinually. Give thanks for the Iducation.
I agree that it can be hard to tell, also because I&I can often look past warning signs in a habit of being too trusting and immediately loving. I&I must love each and every Idren, but also learn to distinguish between the trustworthy ones.
JAH guide and provide Iyahs. Most royal love.
