Each to his own, but to me, that is superstition/belief/spookism- Which I people LOVE. Sometimes this can be harmful, this reasoning and being able to be higher / unaffected by any sickness are two examples.

having black people believe they can't be harm by bullet has seen every black man dead in I experience, African in Africa included I can think of a few. It's not a good teaching. Even if true, if it had not and can not be used for our benefit in this Gideon time then again, I cite it as harmful. Bless up Peter Tosh. Bless up all African bushman and warrior. One thing bout natural physical bodies at least far as I see in dis time it will come to a stop in shock way we see as a living entity, and bullet is jus another one a dem ways to stop it.

I like old superstitions jus for their African connectivity but overcoming gun well some can get hit a few times and survive maybe most were dying from de one shot so when one took three and survived they thought bullet cudna kill but before gun arrow and knife a kill Africans.
But if this power is so what happened why we cudna stop d envaders from way back on all sides a d continent?

^dat question the Maafa have to ask. If we had that power you would think a few white men with guns couldn't keep a multitude of Africans in captivity and colony for 400 years. dealing with natural, it isn't natural to think the physical force of a bullet can be prevented from penetrating the bareskin human body. If some of dis power is held by mediums preistess/preist dat maybe but it deffinately ain't upon d general populace.

There is a story yah of a tree whe they used to torture Africans, and in later years they try cutting d tree but saw would break or not penetrate it, dey try burn it but it wouldna burn on several occasions. I've seen d tree from a distance still standing in d middle of cane field.

Superstition like I say I like dem to find African connection wit dem but they can b mentally harmful especially supm like dat cuz when we take to dem we really take dem.

We had a thing where they say if u cross over a child u would stunt its growth do u would cross back over to break d curse. A lil thing but grown ups would still hold in to dis when they were fully grown where if u would cross their legs they made u cross back and u being swept wit a broom u would go to jail then u have people in jail running from broom

What should we expect from African spiritual ways? I mean isn't Vodun the official 'religion' of Benin or Togo and just about official in Haiti?

One thing from what I see is Unified Africans is a powerful in adversity (Haiti, Ethiopia) it usually the help of other Africans opposition that stops African resistance!
