Controlling Dreams

I just saw an article about using electric probes to help people control their dreams. An example of use is to help people with post traumatic stress disorder cope with their dreams.

I was curious about people's experience with controlling their dreams (with or without electric probes).

I sometimes control or influence my dreams. Any time I have ever tried to control a dream it worked, but it hasn't been very often, usually in dreams the idea of controlling it doesn't come to mind.

The first time I remember having some control was when I was a child. I had a dream and I was in this scary alleyway, and some voice was narrating the background. I didn't want to find out more so I woke myself up. Walking myself up is the Most frequent thing I am able to do. If I want a dream to be over, I open my eyes as wide as possible until i wake up, if I do that I always manage open my eyes.

The other thing I can do which is more interesting is teleporting within a scene of a dream, or to another scene. If I climb up somewhere or onto something and it seems too difficult to climb back down, or if I need to get somewhere up ahead very quickly. I focus on the spot and push out the energy to get there and suddenly I am there.

I can also sometimes change the past in a dream. If a chain of events just happened because of a choice I made, I can switch the dream as if I made different choice. This one happens quite infrequently.

Yes Iayh, I notice dat ca be done too. I notice with the power of thought I ca change the course of a dream but not thinkin to change the dream, jis a thought comes up and then the dream manifests the thought. I wud always wonder if I was doin that or if I jis was kinda fore thinkin cuz I never thought "Ima change dis dream", tho thoughts pop up that change the dream.

Recently a family freind pass who I call Nonc (uncle), while I was at work and I was thinking 'man Nonc left and ain told me by'. So one nite I dreamed bout Nonc, I saw Nonc front his house so I walk go chat wit him but he walk to his house and close the door, then I thought bout him tellin me by and right then and deh he open the door and wave his hand by and say he was gone. I tol my moma bout da dream she say ohh he come tell ya by but I was wondering if i made him do dat by thinking bout it.

I find the more I can control my life ...or the more Iet Jah control things in ILife the more I dreams are in harmony of that order and inspiration of Jah.

The more I inspired in day the more inspired are the dreams when I lay so down to sleep and rest...for to rest at night I must build a resting place of righteousness during the day....
Pray and serve Jah all day in worship devotion study meditation communion and that light will surly enlightened the darkness of sleeps dream dimension, and even during then I NI got to be awake , awake up in the day and awake in dreams of sleep not sleep walking in day or night, INI are the living dread not the living dead

One usually don't know them dreamin till they wake up, but there are ones who live like conquerors in life and their dreams, for all is to be filled with light knowledge wisdom overstanding .....dreamlands are part of
the spiritual battlefield, the word of Jah Rastafari is I sword

Exodus 13
21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: 22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people

Give thanks kings.

Iman has been striving to control I dreams for some time now.Simply coz I don't like all the nightmares and wickedness in dreams that sometimes comes. How we feel the next day depends a lot on our dreams and sometimes the dreams can be so frustrating that the next day you feel completely drained of your energy. So the first step to controling your dreams is realizing it's a dream coz most people never realize they dream during the night, neither that they are "awake" during the day.So Idren Ark I,the I is truly blessed to have such experiences...

I heard that one of the most effective ways to learn to control dreams is to set an alarm and wake up in the middle of the night and remember what you were just dreaming about, and then being aware that it's a dream going back in to it.

An Idren also told I that he learned how to fly in dreams and have full control. He said it's such a blessed experience that he doesn't want to wake up...

Blessed to all

Eat better
Live better
Do better

The best way to control dreams.

Then I'd be more concerned with interpreting and drawing the power from dreams

^^Exactly.....Your third eye trying to tell you something. This is a POWER.

But is it always right? Thats why I said make sure you livity and what you feed to your brain is right and correct before moving on a dream.

Some people take this VERY far....... and who is to say if a right or wrong? Just know yourself.

(Rasta say them sight His Majesty in a dream who instruct them to lick fire on Rome and Burn down them church..... literally)

Big up Planno everytime

MISGANA. Iman can personally control I dreams sometimes. More often when Iman have a lucid dream. It happens unregularly and unexpected mostly.

Yes I VoodooRuutz, maybe the I controlled the dream with your uncle, or maybe he just heard your thought.

Here is another Reasoning related to dreams and separating the visions from those that are just dreams.

RasTafarI Guidance

Jah is always there to provide guidance, but Jah will not force anybody to listen. It is for I and I to choose to listen when Jah RasTafarI speaks to I and I.

Sometimes Jah will show I and I guidance through a dream, sometimes through vision, and sometimes Jah will just speak to I and I as I and I are trodding throughout the day.

Sometimes I and I will be walking to a particular destination and Jah will show I and I to trod a different way that day, or to go somewhere else instead of the planned destination. Sometimes Jah shows I and I this to avoid a problem at the destination or the path to the destination. Sometimes it is because Jah has some kind of Work for I and I to do somewhere else, or that there is somebody I and I are supposed to meet at the new destination.

Jah will also reveal things to I and I about certain people I and I come across, either to show I and I that the person needs to reason with I and I, or to avoid the person because they will cause problems for I and I.

It takes time to learn the difference between guidance from Jah and our own thinking. I and I can learn by testing what I and I saw, to see if it is Jah guidance. If I and I get the vibe to not go to a particular place, I and I should first search I and I thoughts to sight whether it was Jah guidance, or our own thinking that lead I and I to avoid that destination. I and I can also find out later on if something happened in that place that explains why I and I were told to avoid it, or if I and I get a vibe to go somewhere, I and I will sight what or who it was that Jah was sending I and I to, when I and I get there.

If I and I get a vibe that warns I and I about a particular person. I and I should keep I and I eyes open and pay close attention to what the person says and does, so that I and I will sight the physical manifestation of the vibe, to see if the vibe was true.

I and I must be very critical when learning to sight Jah RasTafarI guidance, because it is too easy to be fooled by our own thoughts, imagination or misunderstanding. I and I must make sure that we don't make something bigger or more significant than it is, because this kind of thinking will either slow I and I learning, or stop I and I from learning.

If I and I are honest with ourselves and don't let I and I fool ourselves, in time I and I will learn the difference. But even as I and I learn the difference, I and I must remain critical, otherwise, I and I can fall backwards into our imagination and misunderstanding. As I and I become more familiar with Jah Voice, there will come times when I and I will have absolutely no doubt that it is the Voice of RasTafarI that is guiding I and I. Other times I and I will know that it was just our own logic, thoughts, imagination or misunderstanding. Other times I and I will not be sure, and it is important in these times that I and I don't let ourselves assume it is Jah voice or our own thoughts. I and I should make sure to search it out and that will Itinue to help I and I learn the difference.

The skill of recognizing the difference is important for I and I trod, because I and I trod is Jah guidance. As Jah speak, so I and I should do.

In time, when the I get a dream of prophesy, The I will know it is prophesy and will not ignore it, but will make sure to remember it and keep it fresh in your thoughts. Or when the I is sitting down and Jah tells the I to rise up and go this place or that, the I will just get up and go without a second thought. Or when the I is walking and Jah tells the I to go somewhere else, the I will not hesitate and will trod where you are supposed to trod. And when Jah warns the I about a person or place, the I will take warning. Or when Jah shows the I that somebody is thinking about the I or needs to reason with the I, the I will go see them or give them a call and they will show the I that they needed to reason with the I, or were just talking or thinking about the I.

Always remember to be critical, because sometimes people can fool themselves into thinking their own thoughts is Jah Guidance. For example, logic might show the I that somebody needs to reason with the I, and when the I reason with the person, the person will confirm that they needed to reason. But if the I searched out your thoughts, the I would see the logic that lead the I to this conclusion. It is also good to use your logic and thoughts to make decisions, doing things according to that can often be a good thing. But two things are important to remember, don't confuse the logic with Jah Guidance, and don't put the logic above Jah Guidance, because the best thing for the I to do will not always be the most logical thing.

Give thanks Ark I

Sometimes InI can mistake JAH guidance for our own thoughts and then realize that it was JAH guidance when it's too late. This happened to I a couple of months ago.I was going to a certain place where I go almost everyday, and as I got out and started walking I suddenly heard police asking I for ID and a search and the feeling was as if it was really happening although there was no police there. So I just went on and thought it was my own thought of the unwanted. And as I was coming closer to I destination there are two ways, one on the left and one on the right.I always took the one on the left but this time something was telling I and almost forcing I to take the right one, then I thought about it for a moment and decided to take the left one still coz I don't even know if the right one will take I there. And as I took only a few steps in that way,two cops stopped I and asked for ID and a search.Fortunately Iman had nothing on I that day.

So I Iditated on that situation and clearly Iverstood that those were JAH warnings and guidance.Maybe JAH just wanted to teach I to take good heed to HIS warnings while I had nothing on I.So that when I truly need the warning,I will take heed to HIS guidance.
Also there is no better way to learn than from made mistakes.
