Egyptian SPIRITUALITY has never condoned Slavery.

The is a difference between spiritual law and legal law.

Bible SPIRITUAL law ordains Slavery and the beating of slaves.

If one can't tell the difference...

It's folly to compare legal laws of a country to the laws which we are told have been sent down from GOD Almighty in a book which is God inspired or even God written and therefore infallible...As often put by Chrsitians. The example of THAT scripture clearly shows this cannot be true.

Why you moved the reasoning to whether the Bible is responsible for modern day slavery I DONT KNOW. The scripture was brought up simply to show how the Bible isn't always literally correct or righteous in its script. And isn't always within line of Rastafari teaching. So you gone way LEFT.

But in response: Global white supremacy is the cause behind modern chattel slavery. Something which the Bible and Christianity is a part of. But not in its entirety no of course not...
